I ordered mine on 4/18 and was given a 5/6-5/13 delivery window. Just moved to “preparing to ship” this afternoon. I have no idea how long it typically takes to ship after this happened.

Just updated. Shipped for May 7 delivery. So at the beginning of my window.

AO in the UK are getting regular stock (12.9) by the looks. They also put a listing on ebay, generally there’s only 3 units but I’ve seen it a couple of times in the last few days. Ordered one this am for delivery by Thursday 7th, £10 off (my) first order for signing up to their newsletter.

In the UK John Lewis currently have stock. Just ordered one for delivery within 5 working days. Have now cancelled my order from Apple (which had a delivery date from sometime after 13th May).

It finally arrived, and the keyboard is pretty nice! The trackpad does make the iPad experience very different than just using the touch screen alone!

I wanted to wait to put on my Slickwraps before using the MK, but couldn't wait. Now that I've had some time using it, I find that the palm rest area is rather shallow and makes the movement to the trackpad rather awkward for me. It feels inappropriately placed and way too small when I quickly want to just use it. Like, when I'm typing and want to quickly grab the trackpad, my fingers don't hit it initially and I'm at the upper 10% of it. However, when I lift up and hover my entire hand over the trackpad to use knowing that I'll stay in that position for a bit, it feels fine.

Does anyone else feel that way? I'm sure it just takes more muscle memory and use, but it doesn't feel right to me.

Do love everything else about it though.

Got mine about an hour ago. First impression are, and I don’t know if anyone else thinks this, is that it isn’t as heavy as I expected. Most reviews go on about how heavy it is but for me it’s fine. I’m going to return my Apple Folio Case and just keep this one. I don’t see any need for any other case. Happy. (Was going to insert an emoji but haven’t learned how to access them yet!
