I do have this one coming today. Yeah it's a big bigger than I hoped, but thinner than some of these 3rd party MagSafe batteries. If this can hold a charge, not drain the phones battery while shooting videos, taking photos..that alone is a huge benefit.

I'll see what happens, Some of the YouTube reviews were pretty good for the most part. And it's good that the reviewer claimed the battery does NOT block 12 ProMax bottom camera lens...(It may however on Mini's)

If I don't like it...it gets returned.

(I did notice on some of these batteries on Amazon, "REFUND OR REPLACEMENT" is an option. But a few state "REPLACEMENT" is the only option.)
So far so good. Magnet is strong with Apple MagSafe case, not sure on cases with no MagSafe however - The slight heaviness of the pack may prevent it from sticking to non-MagSafe.

It did work with my tripod, snug fit. Used it last night while shooting time lapses, video for about 30 min.

What used to drain my phone battery down 15-20%+ in a very short time, 0% phone battery drain with the pack attached as it constantly charged as I was using it. Did not give off any heat what so ever.

Like many other packs, this also charges my spare Note9 and my Air Pods.

*I am honestly not a fan of having to get this right now to be honest - although this will help immensely with video shooting. But when the battery health on the 12PM is in the toilet & daily drain is extremely bad and I have no intention of getting the 13 this year, I have to. A new internal iPhone battery will be coming soon.

That's pretty darn slick!
it looks like a nice kit indeed.

I'm just curious how it'll perform, waiting on their kickstarter to see pricing, estimated full production etc. not sure I'm keen on the size of the MagSafe EZ Juice II itself though but hey using it is only temporary. When docked I hope the power doesn't pass through the Juice II when its battery if full.

we'll see.

Too bad their website declined multple cards

The same company that’s selling the branded Caseier MagSafe power bank that 9To5 wrote about is selling a newer one that closely resembles the mock-up article of an Apple branded solution.

Concept: https://9to5mac.com/2020/11/04/ipho...52Wm5ORFF3UHQ0Z3hET0h2OFd4Nm5uQVlidlc5MFVKMWM.

Charge Fast product: https://chargefast.co/products/charge-fast™-ultra-magsafe-air-thin-power-bank

My guess is that the product doesn’t actually exist yet. I wouldn’t buy it now as if it does actually come out it will be available on AliExpress for considerably less.

All this makes me wish that Apple would put out their own solution that allows for charging the power bank wirelessly as well.
Just a Heads-Up: ordered my ChargeFast in July after the very positive 9-to-5-review, it never arrived. The Shipping-Tracking.Number did not exist at all, my eMail asking for the whereabouts of the Charger went unanswered, their site is down. Seems to be a scam. Let's hope Paypal can salvage some of it.

SAME ISSUE!

1. Post on every Social Media about this fraud company.
2. Contact your payment provider (hopefully credit card and report the scam).
3. contact your countries respective version of Better Business Bureau (In Canada they govern consumer rights act and issues with company's if not solved usually a court case or removal of their ability to do business in Canada is restricted. I'm in Canada you maybe elsewhere).

PS: I also was scammed for them back in March

Does it support iOS integration ? When you stick it in the back of the phone do you hear the MagSafe chime? Does it show it status in the battery widget?
No, but IMO that stuff is absolute fluff. Anyone who cares about the MagSafe chime and animation need to take a look at themselves :D

The tiny little white LED's on the Anker show its current battery level, and the standard battery icon on the iPhone shows the phones battery level.

Also, I can confirm that the magnetic connection between the two is nice and strong.

I was going to pass on getting a power bank since I tend to forget to carry them, but after looking at the Anker 622 MagGo and seeing they have a purple one to match my phone... I'm very sorely tempted. $60 is a bit steep though.

It's worth it!

Plus for long travel or vacations - THAT's when you'll want to have it the most!

Either get this now or enjoy carrying power adapters ;)

I just received a newsletter from Pitaka regarding an upcoming new product

PItaka already has a magnetic Wi portable charger called MagEZ Juice 2 which will be compatible with the upcoming desk stand charger.

desktop charger:
Chargers MagEZ Juice 2 (chargers iPhone 12/13 presumably)
Chargers AirpPods or similar TWE charging case with magnetic stand to hold it where it needs to be to charge.
also charges Apple Watch - with ad-on.

Just arrived and posted about it here since it's a 3-in-1 and not strictly a portable MagSafe charger I felt posting full details in this thread would derail:

Public Service reminder: NEVER order ANYTHING AT ALL from ChargeFast! Pure Scam!

that seems to be the most popular one lately.

I'm STILL livid and waiting on Charge Fast to deliver the 2 I ordered back in Februrary 2wks ago they replied with tracking details that load yet still show in Shanghai yet to have been departed since 3.18TH ... I really want to punch a brick wall as I'm out $120CAN due to this. I actually want to ruin the company - it's about the principle of running a business with courtesy and care to the customer.

This one at first glance only looks promising - but no reviews!

Gotta enjoy some of the descriptions on these
"Soft corners are not afraid to cut hands" (like what?) lol.

Received my MagSafe Battery pack from Amazon yesterday, it was $30 off so decided to give it a try.
Is it normal that when it snaps on to the phone I can hear a weird noise/click as if something is "detaching" or moving on the battery pack?
I don't really know how to describe that better, I may just post a video of it if needed.

EDIT: wow, I have just tried using the battery pack without a cover on my phone, it slides away so easily it's scary. But using it with a case makes the whole phone (a Mini) feel like a damn brick. Uff..
