There is a article on this today:
In an update to the article it says:
"A listing for an identical product on AliExpress has been found. The OEM manufacturing the power pack appears to be a company called Caseier. Their listing includes more information like a 5000mAh capacity and other technical details readers may have been wondering about. They are also offering the accessory for a significantly lower price".

Do let us have a review once you receive the product.

I got this (in China) - or something very similar - a few weeks back now. Magnet strength is quite good (has the magsafe animation) but it's very slippery, and rotates around easily.

Haven't had much cause to use it, and won't be either now (i'm planning to leave it at work for emergencies) since I've found a much better one that hasn't been mentioned here. Keep an eye out for one from mcdodo, it's 2x the size of others (10000mah) and also supports super charging on my wife's huawei. handy kickstand too, along with great grip strength and no tendency to rotate out of place. thoroughly recommend once widely available.

This looks very big. It is difficult to gauge the size from the pics. Would this not cover the cameras of the iPhone?

Yes - it's pretty much identically sized to the 12 pro in a case - in all dimensions.

The solution is to spin it around 90 degrees so it sits perpendicular to the phone.

It blocks the ultrawide a tiny bit (I wonder if the pro max might get away with being able to use the ultrawide still) but the wide and tele lenses are unimpeded.

Thanks. So it would be too big for a 12 mini unfortunately.

the beauty of the way this attaches, in comparison to say, a mophie juice pack (which I used to use back in the day) or the like, is that it’s not too big to work. The MagSafe connector stands a mm or so proud of the rest of the battery, so it would connect and work perfectly.

of course, it would be bigger than the mini, so not ideal. But I’m not sure i would say “too big”. It’s slightly bigger than a 12 pro but holds it to it magnetically in horizontal/stand mode without issues.

one other thing to note is that the mcdodo is barely heavier than the 5000mAh battery I bought earlier. For me it’s a winner.

Too big. Not pocketable.

Here’s mine on an Apple Leather case. Sticks to the case with no problem entirely via MagSafe iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro leather case. This Raugee has both a USB-C and a Lighting input to charge. The flip-out stand is a bit loud (too much chrome) but otherwise seems to work. The charge indicators are bright and easy to interpret.

Any rings left on phone?

I ordered the same thin on Aliexpress yesterday just because I want to test a few different ones.

I ordered the OISLE about 4 Weeks ago on Aliexpress. After about 1 Week the seller messaged me on Whatsapp that the white one is not available at the moment and they would send out black or blue immediately if I want. Originally I wanted a blue one but it was sold out. Long Story short: I received mine yesterday.

I am very happy with it even if the charging is slow. But because of that the phone is not getting hot.

Charging with Powerbank only: 5W
Charging with Powerbank plugged in to an Outlet: Phone 7.5W; Powerbank 18W

Powerbank is charging with 18W.

I got 3 Cables inclided: 1x USB-C to USB-C, 1x USB-A to USB-C and 1x USB-C to Lightning to fast charge your phone with a cable.

I attached a few Pictures with my iPhone 12 Mini with Apple Leather Magsafe Case and without. And also with my primary iPhone 12 Pro Pacific Blue without Case.

The Magnet is strong enough to not fall off itself. But I first had to pull off a clear plastic on the magnets. I didn`t realized that first. I ordered 3 more for my Family and friends and as mentioned also from a different Brand just to compare.

I really hope apple will do a first Party MagSafe Battery Case.
Hi, now that you have had this OISLE for a couple of weeks, how do you like it?

How hot does the phone get if you charge the phone with the OISLE plugged into a charger?
Has the OISLE left any marks on the phone?
Which brand wall charger are you using to charge the OISLE? And how many watts is the wall charger?

I am thinking of using the OISLE instead of a MagSafe charger to charge the phone overnight. That way I can always have a fully charged phone in the morning, as well as a fully charged Powerbank. Do you think it would work well using it like this?
Thanks!

The same company that’s selling the branded Caseier MagSafe power bank that 9To5 wrote about is selling a newer one that closely resembles the mock-up article of an Apple branded solution.

Concept: https://9to5mac.com/2020/11/04/ipho...52Wm5ORFF3UHQ0Z3hET0h2OFd4Nm5uQVlidlc5MFVKMWM.

Charge Fast product: https://chargefast.co/products/charge-fast™-ultra-magsafe-air-thin-power-bank

My guess is that the product doesn’t actually exist yet. I wouldn’t buy it now as if it does actually come out it will be available on AliExpress for considerably less.

All this makes me wish that Apple would put out their own solution that allows for charging the power bank wirelessly as well.

Nice! Thanks for sharing. Can you share some photos of this on your iPhone, please?

My Oisle arrived.
It is slight heavy so I tried to put to middle of the phone for better gravity.
Build wise it is quite solid with rubbery smooth feel but need to be caring not to drop as potential wear and tear. There is trace of glue on white ring. It stick to peel case very well although unsure it is glue or magnet itself that holds.

Charging capacity wise not tested yet.

I don’t think to use for daily usage but I will just keep in my backpack for backup for MagSafe go.

Thanks for the writeup and the pics. Please update us on your thoughts once you start using it.
Where did you purchase it from? Aliexpress, or another site?

From product description, it says as 5W for Wireless charging. This is quite slow in today fast charging standard. But at least it will be perfect as backup for on the go activities.
It can also charge both battery pack and phone whilst charging cable connected to Batt pack. (ie. suitable for overnight charging, felt pretty safe too as reverts back to 5W charging if overheat. but I will stay keep far from me for overnight charging paranoid me)

I have ordered from Aliexpress and it is quite expensive. Seems like Oisle products on par with Anker.
CE marked and such.

This is one of the smallest form factor for MagSafe battery pack I found. But I still feel not comfortable to carry all around with me for daily use.

We are spoilt, I know. I am looking for the size of Apple wallet size for battery pack. It will come one day, I hope

Many thanks for the update. Does the phone and battery pack get very hot when the battery pack is attached to the phone and the cable is connected to the battery pack to charge it?

I will get back to you once I try tonight. Yes, this is good to put into test whether it really brings back to 5W charging when battery overheat as they claim.

Hi, were you able to try overnight charging of the phone with the battery pack plugged into the charger?

Bad news. It is getting warm at night time charging. It is not hot though.
I think Anker is coming out with similar idea and it is an alternative.
Thank you for the update. If it is only warm but not hot then I might consider getting it. But I will wait a while to see if Anker or some other known brand comes out with something similar.

Hi, I think I just found the official website for the magsafe powerbank. It looks legit. Just ordered one for my 12 mini, hope I dont regret it like always when I order online... magpowerair.com if anybody is wondering
