okay so I spoofed my Mac Board ID from the iMac Pro Board ID to the Mac Pro 7,1 Board ID and removed lilu and WEG again but now when I boot I get this error sign. How can I fix it without spoofing back to the iMac Pro Board ID and what did I wrong?
Thanks in advance! :)

It looks like that you haven’t mod the config plist correctly (e.g. some typo). You should revert to the default config, or last known good config, then mod it again carefully.

I couldn't find any mistake in my config ...
The output I get in Terminal is also okay:

Please just revert to the last known good config.

Then only change the board ID but nothing else.

Okay so I tried this on my last known good config with only HWAccel, the AppleMCEReporterDisabler and the iMac Pro Board ID enabled. I changed the Board ID again to the Mac Pro 7,1 Board ID and what should I say I doesn’t work for me again. Should I try this again with your configuration?
Thank you for your suggestion and fast replies! I really appreciate it!

Yes please, for diagnostic purposes, please use my default config, but just change the board ID.

That works on many cMP, no reason not work on your.

Works here without any hassle... your (h9826790) config and only changed the board ID.

Thank you so much, Martin!
My Mac Pro boot up now just fine with the Mac Pro 7,1 Board ID without Lilu and WEG with your config!
Now I still have to edit your config for my needs, but at least everything works now.
Thank you!

Would you share your EFI folder!? I have a cMP5,1 with some issues with the brightness slider. Maybe your config works better on my machine.

Of course I would but I don't know how to upload the EFI Folder! I'm sorry for that, just use Martins Config instead (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/activate-amd-hardware-acceleration.2180095/post-28255048). I used Version 0.6.3. After you download it open the config file and search for Mac-7BA5B2D9E42DDD94 and replace it with Mac-27AD2F918AE68F61. It should work for you. My personal config is a bit different configured than Martins one.

I don't follow what you're saying.
I have one and will very likely be running Windows only with it.

Currently have an RX470.
Why you want to run GTX 1070 with OpenCore, what benefits are you looking for?

Do you mean to run OpenCore -> EFI Windows safely?

Just to let you guys know, RX 5600 XT has native HWAccel in Big Sur even on the iMacPro1,1 board id and all the ports are working without Lilu and WEG.

Now i'm wondering if tere's any benefit to changing the board id to MacPro7,1 in my case? Or just let it be if it's working ? With WEG and Lilu had some weird green boxes and glitches sometimes when editing photos.

No need. Just -no_compat_check

Thanks for the advise but the brightness slider ist still greyed out. Tried so many different settings but nothing helped. I guess, I'm going back to Catalina or Mojave. Interestingly, Windows 10 has absolutely no problems with the brightness adjustment of the display

Opencore seems so far to have been so far the most reliable way to dual boot Win10 and Mac OS on my Mac Pro.
My current install boots UEFI. It seems plenty safe, is EFI safer?

Does OpenCore resolve the USB issues for Big Sur?
- USB HID devices on system bus not recognized if inserted after boot
- USB 3 add on media devices (auto and video) not smooth
This was not an issue with earlier Big Sur betas, but is a problem now.
So far it did not. I loaded the plain version of OpenCore and removed all Extensions not from Apple. No luck

for me some devices have this issue and some others don't.

I also have the compact apple aluminum wired keyboard and I can reconnect it just fine, but my Logitech mouse doesn't .
he even admitted he had to use a hub to fix his midi issues lol.

bottom line is, some devices reconnect, some don't.
What I see is that the USB polling is not even as required by the USB spec. Devices define a polling interval and the OS is supposed to follow that. There seem to be large gaps on unsupported configurations.

I should not that this was much less of an issue during earlier 11.0 betas until fairly late into the process.

But you won't get boot picker for GTX1070.

In some way, yes, EFI Windows is safer (e.g. has more security features).

Ok, that's interesting - thanks.
If rEFInd does give me what I need I may have to go that route instead.

Guys I need help installing the basic open core, I am following the Post1 method (installing on EFI partition of external usb stick, for disk B, I am using a sata ssd with Mojave), in Step3 I was able to reboot to recovery but I am not able to mount the EFI for blessing. I tried to mount disk2s1 first as that was the identifier for EFI partition of usb stick in step 1. Then tried disk3s1 but no good.
I'll appreciate if you can guide me here. Thanks
