I haven't had a "rest/lazy" in well over a year and I'm sometimes wondering whether taking it wouldn't be better for my body ...
My goal is to exercise twice a day. But I have had periods of time where I have to reduce the effort because my body gets a little sore (mainly my legs when I am running long distances) and so I have to cutback if I don't want the soreness to turn into something more serious.

And then if I get sick, I don't exercise any all - but I want to.

So yeah, I still want to get in my exercise every day. 🏃‍♀️ :)

I'm on my spin bike every morning for ~ 1hr and then a few times per week on my mountain bike for ~ 2hrs. I skip the spin bike when I go man biking, my knees are holding up for the most part even though I have arthritis all over my body ...

That is what I like about recumbent bicycles - they are lower impact than running.

And I do plan on getting a good spin cycle later this year to get a better workout than the entry level recumbent I have now.

Fortunately my wife taught spin classes for many years at a local branch of LA Fitness, so we will get a good one due to her knowledge of what makes for a good spin cycle.

I don’t really run due to my knees, but have plenty of other ways to exercise.
Can’t remember the last time I was sick. Definitely before the AW was invented.

Is man biking the exercise equivalent of mansplaining? 🤪

I know, I know, probably the spelling / grammar checker did that or you were typing fast. I do the same thing, which is why I found this humorous. :D

the damn spellchecker corrected "mtn" to "man" :(

Yeah, when I do a similar thing I wonder did I fat finger it or was I typing so fast I didn't check what I had written. Probably both in any cases.

In fact, when I was typing this response I typed "ting" in the sentence above instead of "typing" - glad I checked before clicking on "Post reply." :D

Got my March challenge. I have only had an Apple Watch since February 3, so I got an easy one for my first monthly challenge.

Challenge - 2021 March.jpeg

Go continue exercising and you will get “real” challenge in Apr 😎😜
Oh I will. :) 🏃‍♂️

My goal is to get four 6 mile runs during the week and two 9 mile (or more) runs each weekend.

So that will make my Move and Exercise totals pretty high (for me) by the end of the month.

You have to let your body recover at least once a week. That’s a part of getting stronger. Otherwise you’ll just wear yourself down and your performance will suffer.
