It’s interesting that you can watch Wolverine plung his blades into the chest of commandos invading the Professor’s Mansion and it still walks with a PG-13 rating, simple, they have no blood.;)

Beauty and the Beast shows wolves looking for food, inciting violence by antagonist, kidnapping, violence, stabbing, BLOOD, and even near death, and is a G movie.

By any measure, that is PG-13.
Disney have undo influence? Nahhhhh, never! /sarcasm.

Any place but here or there....
^ Not a fan of most of the storylines they are mining -and especially not Ms. Portman- but Bale as Gorr could be great. And if Hemsworth plays future King Thor that could be a blast.

Taika will probably make this more fun than the Jason Aaron storylines are, which is necessary for this to work.

I understand why they are doing this and am fine with the transition from Thor to Mighty Thor, but I’ll watch on D+.

Captain Marvel is one of my favorite newer Marvel characters to make it into the MCU. The original movie story is superb and although she seems overpowered, she is powered by an Infinity Stone. I know some of you don’t like her or her performance, que sera. Gotta love the Flerken! :)

I don’t know anything about Ms. Marvel, but will be watching on Disney+.

I really like Marvel movies. I'm always waiting for new movies about superheroes. They are always dynamic, exciting and with very cool special effects. Recently I watched the movie Avengers: Endgame. After watching Infinity War, I was looking forward to the release of the Endgame. The film is filled with funny moments, irony in relation to oneself. And I just love it. In general, the creators of the Final do not let us relax, they prepare us for the denouement. So inevitable, so logical and at the same moment so terrible! Two and a half hours in front of us is just an unrealistically cool and positive picture, and then thirty minutes of pain and fear. A film with a logical but unpleasant ending.
A big fan of Infinity War. My beef with Engame was the time travel extravaganza, actual saying time travel does not work like that way then actually showing it happen the way it they said it could not happen. That’s all I’ll say. There is an Avenger thread where the merits of Endgame were debated for a while after it hit the big screen. :)

Loving The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, but super psyched for Moon Knight as he’s 1) my favorite comic book super hero and 2) Oscar Isaac‘s physical training will match his fantastic acting chops. MK will air on D+ sometime in 2022 (I am wondering if it’s before or after Thor Love & Thunder

because of Gorr and Moon Knight being a servant of the Egyptian God Khonshu.)

I probably won’t watch much else on the list unless the characters I love are involved.

Where is Gamora? Guardians of the Galaxy:
After re-watching Avengers:End Game:

During A:EG we see Gamora told by Nebula about her future including a future with both her sister and The Guardians which she had not yet experienced. And we see her come around offering to help Nebula And making a derogatory comment about Peter Quill. So where is she after the dust settles in End Game?

This article says when the movie disk was released (which I don’t own) it includes a deleted scene from the movie of Gamora walking away after the fight the one who never got a chance to develop a relationship with Peter Quill. And it speculates that this will be part of the plot in the next Chapter, Quill looking for her.

This fan video of deleted scenes shows 2 seconds of Gamora walking away:

LOKI LIVES! :)

How, you ask, you saw him die again in End Game. Actually he might have died that time. Do you remember in End Game when Stark, Hulk, Ant Man, and Capt America go back to NYC to grab 3 Infinity Stones? And do you remember Hulk bursting from a stairway and knocking a briefcase carried by Stark, it pops open and out slides the Space Stone across the floor stopping at Loki’s feet (while he is in custody), and he disappears with it?

Short Time Travel Detour Gripe- Famous Banner line: Time doesn’t work that way... Just forget Loki dissapearing, plus Stark and Capt America go further back to steal the Tesseract at an earlier tone from Stark’s Father. Don’t think how that would have scrambled the time line, lol! Just put it out of your pretty little head. ;)

Back on topic, Loki disappearing during this trip back in time is his path forward. This Disney+ Series takes place after End Game.

land of confusion
So I am really loving Falcon and the Winter Soldier simply because the premise is something that really takes some thinking about. My wife and daughter weren't really caring for it much (other than drooling over Sebastian Stan,) until I sat down and discussed it with them.

Because Stark wanted to keep his daughter, he really screwed things up for the survivors and the "returners". Think about the survivors who didn't make it through the 5 years. The returner comes back in the blink of an eye and their loved one is gone (kind of gone over in Wanda Vision.

But then we started talking about how many returners got lost right away as well. What about the people who "poofed" away in the middle of surgery? What about scuba diving? What about people on cruise ships or planes. Do you "poof" back to the spot where they are now, or where you "poofed" away from.

And you can't just bring back all these people instantly and expect life to just roll on like it was before.

-----

Now on to Loki. Really looking forward to this one. Love Hiddleston in that role and glad he gets more spotlight.

As far as the timeline, Hilda Swinton explains about timeline breaking and I simply view that when Loki grabbed the tesseract and disappeared as just another branch off of the timeline. Now how that branch lines up the current timeline, who knows.

I coined Marvel’s Infinity Stone Saga (at least here ;)) and describe it as one of the monumental feats in movie making history to tie 15 or so movies from the same intellectual ecosystem all leading to an explosive climax Avengers: Infinity War/End Game. Planned from the start! 👀

Uh... well it’s still monumental but apparantly there was no master plan for this from when the first Infinity Stone appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger. Not even right after, not until sometime after Guardians of the Galax. SHOCKING. :D

Marvel's Infinity Stones plan was far less planned than we thought

From the moment Thanos appeared at the end of The Avengers, it seemed as though the Marvel Cinematic Universe was building to the epic Infinity War/Endgame conclusion.

Key to it all was the gradual introduction of the Infinity Stones – renamed from the Infinity Gems in the comics – across the subsequent movies, before Thanos gathered them all together to devastating effect in Avengers: Infinity War. It seemed like such interconnected storytelling that it had to be planned out from the very beginning, but it turns out that was just not the case.

During James Gunn's recent live tweeting of Guardians of the Galaxy, he revealed that the only thing he was asked to include in the first movie was a cameo from Thanos and "an origin for the Infinity Stones".

This led to the scene on Knowhere when the Collector (Benicio Del Toro) explains where the Infinity Stones come from to Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and co:

"Before creation itself, there were six singularities. Then the universe exploded into existence, and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots... Infinity Stones.
"These stones, it seems, can only be brandished by beings of extraordinary strength... These carriers can use the stone to mow down entire civilisations like wheat in a field."

So, sure, Marvel might not have known what the origins of the Infinity Stones were in the MCU, but it clearly knew how important they were and that they'd eventually lead to Thanos using their destructive power, right?

Nope.
Gunn was then asked whether it was a "big responsibility" to come up with an origin for something that would prove so crucial to the MCU's future.
"We didn't know at that time it was going to be as big a deal as it turned out to be," he replied, later adding in response to what he knew of the future plans for them: "Everything: There were none at that time."

Loki (Disney +)- Gearing to watch this when there are 3 episodes to watch (6 total). I’m a bit concerned about the plot of Loki being in trouble with the Temporal Authority because he stole the Tesseract during End Game. And, oh yeah, he’s not dead again. ;)

Those are a sort of separate Sony MCU itself, not MCU proper.

Spider - Man is tied to MCU proper because Sony worked out a deal with Marvel to do it, in the understandable hopes it wouldn't bomb like Sony's previous efforts. Otherwise Venom, Morbius, and Kraven are more tied to Spider - Man only. With the hopes of finally doing a Sinister Six movie ultimately. Which means they really should also be hard @ work thinking about that Black Cat movie as well. The success of the Miles Morales movie I believe caught Sony by surprise & the use of the multi verse opened options they hadn't considered before. Thus the repeated rumors of the other Spider - Man actors being in the next movie, Alfred Molina / Doc Ock being in it, as well as the hope of Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock making a cameo.

But Sony's stuff outside of Peter Parker isn't really tied to the MCU proper... yet.

Correct, but I remember reading Morbius, in particular, is being worked by another study in conjunction/association with the Marvel, which is where the rumor of introducing the new Blade franchise is supposed to be launched. So that would be the tie in to the MCU.

Into the Spider verse was outstanding by the way! I think that caught everyone by surprise.

Boy, the next Spider-man movie is reported to have a boat load of cameo's!!

Absolutely, especially Loki...
I’m waiting until I can watch 2 or 3 Lokis. The idea of a Temporal Authority is not new, having seen it in Umbrella Academy and wonder if they are related. Now, I’ve not watched Loki yet, but if the idea, there is a Temporal Authority that has an issue with screwing with the time continuum, they should be ALL OVER the Avengers. :p

Not Temporal Authority, but the Time Variance Authority or TVA as they mention throughout the episodes. So far I am really digging it.

This is what I had read last about Morbius...

Update: GameSpot has confirmed that Morbius is still slated to come out on January 28, 2022. Additionally, the movie is not part of the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is a part of Sony Pictures' Universe of Marvel characters, contrary to what Tyrese Gibson said in the interview below.

Original story follows:
