I saw it, and I have no idea what it was about and its relation to the MCU. 😂 I’m not a comic expert though.
I’m not sure why I claimed this was must see. I have not seen it yet, while over at RT- 47% 78%.

With the mid-credit scene identifying the rings as an artifact not from their universe. It will be interesting how they'll continue to further expand the MCU with the rings. Having found it 'pinging' from within, definitely going to set up expanding the MCU.

Yes, this is a teaser, but then consider the next Dr Strange has multi-verse in the title. In this movie Ying Nan mentioned a portal to get to their universe when they arrived at the hidden village. I think she said that.
In the past I have been very picky about alternate time lines associated with parallel universes, but Disney has gone out of their way to make jumping time lines no big deal, and now there is a portal! I won’t complain until I start hearing about or seeing duplicate people.
I think MCU storewide...That will be the only way to see the big names reprise their roles in a future movie. With the movies opening up the multiverse and everyone assuming it's going to lead to a Secret Wars movie...That'll probably be the next time we see RDJ or Chris Evans again. Disney has the money, they'll make sure to go bigger with their next big MCU universe movie.
I think Morbius will be part of the multiverse. IMO, I'm just curious which Spider-Man they will refer to in that film? Last I read that it would be Maguire and Garfield will be referenced in the next Venom movie.
It'll be interesting, but I don't trust Sony without Feige and Marvel Studios' involvement lol.
But Sony is making a Madame Web movie. Remember when everyone was clamoring for that to be made and now it's coming true!!! (That was sarcasm btw - I find it hard to believe they think anyone wants to see that)
I've heard that Maguire is in the new Strange movie and that Marvel also has future plans for his character (Secret Wars?)
As far as Garfield - I think his Spider-Man is the one that should be involved in the Venom-verse and I wouldn't doubt if that happens. It would certainly be a money-maker for Sony and would be cool to have two Spider-Man franchises running concurrently.
I also just realized Thor: Love and Thunder is releasing this summer too. I wonder when we'll see a trailer for that film.
Oh boy... I could see Russell playing Zeus and Thor is this year!!!!!!! I don't go that far back, or if they are in any of the new series of Marvel to know about the Greek Gods and what they do within the comic books. I wonder if the Eternals will be making their appearance in any of these films?
That's always a possibility. I mean, Kingo named dropped Thor in The Eternals movie when he was talking about how they used to play together when they were kids. I think it'll depend where Thor will take place in the timeline as well. We'll just have to wait and see.
MoonKnight is 3 weeks away. Can't wait.
I’m just curious does anyone love Eternals? It might be one of those movies I need to see a second time, but right now, I’m ehh about it.
I didn't love it. But I enjoyed it for what it was. I think there was A LOT of hype around the film because of Chloe Zhao's Acadamy Award nomination when it released. But IMO, if it released at it's normal date, I think it wouldn't have been heavily criticized? I thought the cast was great and worked well together. Expanding the MCU and tying in Black Knight, Blade, and possibly Moon Knight is always good.
What I want to know is when they'll begin acknowledging a giant frozen Celestial in the ocean lol.

I feel like Marvel is slipping, maybe I’m suffering some kind of Marvel God overload. Moon Knight, it seems to have all of the elements that would normally draw me in, especially the first episode, but no. I’ve turned it off half way though the 3rd episode. I don’t care. This looks like Egyptian Gods?
There is nothing that has been turned into a Disney/Marvel series that I cherish and the last Spider-Man sucked. I guess I’ll lower my expectations for the new movies of franchises I am vested in, and hope for a surprise. 🤔
Sounds like you're tired from Marvel content. I think a lot of people's expectations (not saying yours) of Marvel Studios' projects post Endgame was supposed to be on the same level as Endgame. Clearly those people are delusional and have set themselves up for failure. Have the Disney+ content been great? No, I think some shows were much better than others. Part of it possibly had to do with pandemic shutting down production for a long time.
Moon Knight is definitely different from the other projects and honestly feels like a stand alone series. But with subtle tie-ins post Endgame, I understand where this series fits within the MCU timeline. IMO, I think Oscar Isaac is killing it as a Marc Spector and doing a great job emphasizing Spector's personality disorder. With one episode left, I think the series will end on a good note.
Moon Knight finale Wednesday and then Doctor Strange 2 releasing Friday...Looking forward to see how Raimi explores the multiverse. We got a taste in No Way Home...I'm ready for the full course multiverse meal. Add in the rumors that they added more cameos to the film...Curious how Raimi will do. IMO, MoM will be better than NWH story wise, but not box office numbers compared to NWH.
And I'm curious on your thoughts on Spider-Man:No Way Home. After re-watching the movie, I think I enjoyed the movie the moment Osborn turned against Peter.
I've been absolutely loving Moon Knight, it reminds me of my favorite all-time favorite Marvel TV project, Legion.
I was worried after the "Meeting" with the Ennead, we wouldn't get to see them in their godly form, then we got this beautiful woman.

IMHO, it's one of the cooler comic book related TV shows, it's very stylized and surreal. Dan Stevens made a great David Haller (neé Xavier). The supporting cast is colorful and eclectic, and it's on Hulu (and D+ in some regions) [I own the series on ATV].
EDIT: It's also a complete series, it was created as a 3 season (28 episode) story, so it has a very definitive ending.
