Thanks Aditya for your detailed explanation.
So the change since iOS 8.4 affects skip forward/backward. But why was the first song in the album getting played and not allowing to play any other song? Was it a bug in iOS or Marvis and what caused it if not a bug?
I almost stopped playing music in Repeat One because of that bug and playing the whole album wasn't the ideal solution.
I'm really not sure why it doesn't work for you. Which version of iOS & Marvis you have?

One tip I have for you is to keep Shuffle On in Marvis and then try to play the item, it'd definitely play the right one. And as you just want to repeat the song, shuffle shouldn't really matter. I know it's not a solution, but could work in your case because it's strange that you're facing the issue.

The first song playing Bug was in iOS's APIs when 8.4 was launched and still hasn't been solved in iOS 9, so, I have found a workaround to solve it.

Thanks again. I will test this Shuffle On and Repeat One while playing, will let you know how it works.
I wonder why Apple hasn't fixed the first song playing bug and actually how did they let it slip through in the first place. But again this bug doesn't show up in Apple's Music app, so may be something to do with how 3rd party apps interface with Music. My solution so far has been, when this bug appears (seemingly random), switch to Apple Music app or reboot.

You're welcome. I hope it gets solved.

Yeah, the bug just affects 3rd party apps because it's in the APIs(which Apple provides to developers). Apple doesn't use the exact same APIs for themselves in Music App. So, maybe they didn't test the Developer APIs well and probably still don't plan to fix it even in iOS 9.

Curious how do you change the 3D options when using RevealMenu? I've looked all over the settings in the app and have Marvis+ installed as well and can't seem to find it.

Ohh, isn't there any option called 3D Touch Quick Actions available in Marvis Settings > General?

Update: Looks like you're right, there's some issue with RevealMenu. To explain in Simple words, there's a property called ForceTouchCapability in iOS which returns different values according to availability of 3D Touch. I've forcibly returned it's available even if it isn't, in Marvis+ as Marvis shows the 3D Touch setting only when 3D is available. But looks like RevealMenu is setting the ForceTouchCapability to unavailable, I don't understand the reason why Dev is touching that property to set unavailable.

That makes sense, I installed forcy back to see the 3D options in Marvis so it's all good. I do like RevealMenu a little more as there are a few more options that I can toggle, and the fact that you can just hover over the options.

You can actually download Forcy's beta, it has all the features RevealMenu has, and even more. Add this repo: http://greenydev.github.io/repo
