Probably because it doesn't use the StockMusic App to Play music(I don't really know, haven't tried it, but I can guess) If you cannot Scrub the NowPlaying Position via Control Centre, it means it's not using using Stock Music App.

It's not working properly either. It used to work perfectly before 8.4.1... I think this is a 8.4.1 issue. None of music apps are working properly.
Well, Apple is still signing 8.4 if you'd like to go back. But as I explained the same would happen on 8.4 as well due to lack of RAM(maybe not as bad as 8.4.1). Though, if you jailbreak, you can keep the App you wish, running in Background Forever.

I've made a Tweak to make Marvis the Default Player, It's called Marvis+.
When you tap the Title in Control Center, Instead of opening Stock Music Player it opens Marvis.
I'll add more Features in the Future.

For those who're wondering why I didn't host on BigBoss, Here's the Reason:
I did upload on BigBoss but as the Tweak does a very little job now, which the Maintainer thought could be Performed by 'DefaultPlayer' Tweak for all apps in general.
As of Now 'DefaultPlayer' Tweak can't make the App Default if it relies on Stock Music Player, but the BigBoss Maintainer has suggested its Dev to add that feature. I helped them by giving my Source Code so that the Dev can do it quickly.
When I add More Features to the Tweak, I'll ask the BigBoss Maintainer Again. Let's Hope, he'll agree then. I'll continue Updating the Tweak on my Repo anyway.

Excellent work! And wow that trailer is fantastic. Going to add that repo now. Every time I think I'm content with the app I get more and more features to fawn about.
I do have to report a very minor bug though, it's kinda random and I can't figure out what triggers it. Also it happens very occasionally. Whenever a song is playing and I click midway on another song to start playing that song won't play, it may play for a second but it will stop and then random shuffle kicks in.
Like I said it happens very occasionally and 99% of the time the action I described works just fine.
I'll let you know when I find a pattern.

Just so you talked about more features, there's more to come, not one or two but many. It's gonna be a major Update, v3.0.
Two minor features I can tell right now - Shuffle by Albums, and Grid Support for Playlist view. (I said those are 2 of the Minor ones)
The bug you mentioned is iOS's Bug, happens sometimes for me as well, no pattern I've found so far.

Sorry, but actually last.fm is transferring their website and I wasn't able to make a Developer Account, I tried many times, but couldn't.No Last.fm yet?
Without the Developer Account, I couldn't use the APIs to Scrobble and Love songs.
Amazing, can't wait. I guess this comes as a minor request, when in landscape view is there a possibility to have the same info displayed as in portrait mode below the artist? For eg in portrait mode, it says under the artist 3 albums, 31 songs. Turn that to landscape mode and that info changes to 31 songs, 205 mins. etc.. is there a setting already to keep the info the same?
I know I know picky picky but to satisfy my OCD I would like to be able to keep them both the same.

But I just tried again today. It didn't work, gives error after I put in the details. And the page actually opens only in Safari for mac, for other Browsers it doesn't even open(Redirects to home).I'll keep trying to make the Account. Hope it works again soon.
Bad news. App Review Team Rejected Marvis for using Album Artworks in Screenshots(They already allowed it previously for Marvis and all other Apps out there). Now I have no Idea what should I do,
- It's impossible to ask for authorisation to use all the Artworks I use, which would be like 40 or so.
- I can't even remove Artworks Completely and use the Missing Artwork Image instead, coz that would look very strange to most new Users.
If anyone has any information about this, I'd be grateful if you could help me.

Why don't you just find some royalty free artwork that looks a bit like album covers and paste that in? Or even use some very basic desktop publishing software and create your own albums (i.e. royalty free artwork and make up your own album name and artist)

I even asked some other Devs if they got any similar issues, but they haven't (Even I never had the issue before).
I finally found some pretty good Gradients (Not really Artworks) and Replaced them with the Artworks. Now I'm working on screenshots again.
I don't think it's Apple's fault that they rejected Marvis, but I guess they should have already done it before and all other Apps (Why suddenly change now?). Maybe they're just being protective.

This is ludicrous. Sounds like a reviewer woke up on the wrong side of the bed or like it's their first day on the job.
Glad you've found a workaround (though I like Jessica's "White Album" idea).
Any idea when 3.0 will hit? Also, I'd try using legitimate artwork again when you submit 4.0 or one of the next 3.x releases and see what happens.
On the positive side, they didn't reject it based on the contents of the app. This is my personal favorite music playing app in a field of very strong contenders (including Cesium).
I think I'll not take any risk and use the original Artworks again. And it's for my own good. If some copyright owner decides to sue me then to the pay the amount, even if I sell my kidney(or the whole body
) I'd not be able to pay them. I've resubmitted 3.0 for review, now I hope that it gets reviewed today, but worse would be it could take another week.
If another week, I might have completed 3.1 by then, which includes Dynamic Font Size and iOS 9 Split-View/Slide-Over Support. I'll also try adding the iPhone 6s 3D touch shortcuts, but I won't have iPhone 6s to test and Xcode Simulator only supports it if I have Force Touch Trackpad on mac.

I honestly would resubmit with the same artwork. There seems to be something off with the review team considering they missed out on all that malware that's now in the news.
