Here are some screen shots, I've been doing some light video editing for the past couple of hours and last night, before that is just work / trading stuff

The low 40C temps are from when the computer wakes up periodically from sleep then goes back to sleep

My idle is always high 40s

that's really low, I only can get those temps when I open the MacBook after some hours of no usage.
Ive been playing with the ps2 emulator for one hour before and the ambient of the room I guess is 25 or more. Also I have the laptop on my bed.
Now my ave temp is 46.

Also my laptop has a thick plastic case and a the keyboard has a case too, so maybe it helps to get more temps idk.
Im a little worried but I didn't have any problem yet. My iPhone 12 Pro when I use it a lot can get really hot too and works perfectly.
Where did you find ps2 emulator?

I would say that’s pretty high. I have a 14 MacBook Pro M1 Pro base model and my temps are around mid 40s C idle. My ambient temps are around 70 - 80 F. So crazy to me that my m1 MacBook Pro would be around 51C and that’s with 2k screen connected, FaceTiming, and watching live tv from my web browser.

Kinda flawed tho

Most people also use windows pc ,on which safari isn’t .

But for Mac users ,perhaps most people are using safari ,idk

For my part,I use chrome because it’s just more reliable ,faster (yes, faster) ,and has an integreated dark mode which safari lacks .and chrome passwords sync with any device ,whereas safari passwords will not work on android or windows

About the only time I've felt any "heat" coming from my 2014 MBP 14" is when I have the Apple charger attached (and charging). And that's very minimal.
