How do you use the promo codes? If I download the app from the App Store isn't it going to charge me?
Open your App Store icon, go to the top charts, scroll down to the bottom and tap on the Redeem icon. plug in the code there.
Well looks like all the codes have been taken. Considering the terrible reviews this app has gotten, it doesn't look like I'm missing much. I'll stay with Air Sharing HD.
iPad Printing
I came across multiple applications for printing on my iPad. some are good and some are bad.
the best one so far, was iWorks, but I had to save my documents and go to a computer and print them.. i needed something to print directly from my iPad.
then I came across two products.
"Cortado Workplace" and "ActivePrint"
Activeprint, and Cortado workplace, both can print any document. (PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, jpg) basecally any document, you can manage your files from your computer, and the device while you are on the go. you can also print to any Wi-Fi printer.
Difference, is that Cortado workplace is free.....
Has anyone tested any of this products?

I've loaded Cortado workplace on my iPad and it works great for me.

That 1G that they give you of free space comes in handy. I can also print from the storage on my iPad. I can manager my files and print directly...

Can it print directly to a wifi printer, without any other computer needed in the middle?
Yes... I was able to do this with Cortado Workplace. I can connect to printer without a computer being attached to it.
I installed Cortado Workplace on my iPad and when I print it searches for available printers on that network.
No need for a computer being attached to that printer....
Wow, that's exactly what I've been looking for, and so far haven't seen any other ipad apps that do this. I think I will download it and give it a try now.
Air sharing is good. I looked at it, but it didnt say anything about printing.
You can manage the files, but not print.
If I have a meeting and I need a print outs. Or a presentation. I dont want to take a big stack of paper with me. I can just go to the meeting access the nearest printer and print.
Print directly from my iPad... and Air Sharing doest have this feature....

i loaded cortado on my phone.. you can print with air sharing? i looked at the website and i didnt see anything about printing. do you have a better link?
