Now that those two clowns in the stands physically interacted with an opponent's player on the field, and other numbskulls were high-fiving and hugging them on the way out,

The more I think about this the more I think they should be banned from any MLB stadium for life. This wasn't Bartman or Jeffery Maier. They simply interfered with a play. These two yahoos assaulted a player while he was making a play.

So I say ban them for life. And if you can make it so they never got to even watch the Yankees on TV again would be a bonus. LOL

Sports "riots" are usually the result of exuberance over a team winning. I suppose there have been a few riots over the years after a team losing, but that's rare. I don't know if Yankees fans have ever rioted, looted, etc. after a win, but there are several famous incidents in the ballpark where fans threw things at the other team. No team can claim perfect fan behavior.

The "losing" riots that stick out in my mind were in East Lansing whenever Michigan State lost in the Men's Basketball Final Four. I can't think of any examples in MLB, though.

Say what you want about Yankees fans, but notice how there’s no stories of any arrests or violence in the Bronx following this series. Us fans may be passionate, but we’re not going to start a riot. And Philly is the worst offender when it comes to that.
hmmm...

But if they'd won...?

My beloved GIANTS had some stupid fans set fire police cars after one of our WS wins...

There is always going to be some idiots who go to extremes... but I'm cool with hating on the bodgers and their fans.

The one good not bad thing I can take away from the Dodgers' win is that Tommy Lasorda and Vin Scully are smiling somewhere.

Scully needs no explanation, but I always enjoyed Lasorda, who took everything thrown at him, and threw it right back.

He understood it was a show, shows have good and bad guys, and wasn't afraid to play the bad guy when it came to rivalries. He was a character, and relished the role.

I expected NY to put up a better fight, but they were beaten by a better team.

And for all the big money and regular season big stats from players like Judge? Batted less than .200 for the postseason and netted a big fat zilcho in the end.

Judge's postseason batting average: .182

Judge's GF DUI BAC: .181.

He barely beat her.

I quite enjoyed the World Series… I woke up in the middle of the night a few times and watched an inning here and there, before going back to sleep and catching up on the news in the morning.

Now I’m off to watch the new Netflix docu about the 2004 Red Sox.

Yeah Ohtani is lucky Judge had a bad series, it made people forget Ohtani went 2 for 19!

True, he didn't bat much higher. But luckily he had Freeman to carry them, and in the end he'll still be remembered for having a ring.

Ratings for the series hit a seven-year high, so MLB must be pleased by what it got.

Yeah one weak series... it happens I'm sure they'll be back and he will be fine.

This happens, I'm sure you will agree, more often than you'd think. The big star gets shut down and other, lesser stars, shine.

Although Freeman is a pretty big star in his own right so really the yanks, and the bodgers too, had to pick their poison. You can't walk, or pitch around, them all.

Timely demonstration in Brazil today that there are different levels, not just between good and great, but of greatness.

Backed up those bold statements earlier in the week, on the field, and showed a big middle finger to all his doubters.

Meanwhile, his closest challenger made mistakes, and wilted.

My theories:
  1. He wants more money for blowing the World Series...
  2. He's willing to listen to offers from other teams to see if the Yankees will bite...
  3. He wants out of NY because he can't show his face 100 miles within the Bronx...
