I’m frustrated about the Yankees, but still hopeful.

These are the 2 games the Yankees had to bounce back from in 1996. A lot uglier than these last 2 games. If they take advantage of the Dodgers lack of starting pitching depth and win the next 3 at home, that puts them in a good position. It won’t be easy though.

Dodgers now lead the series 3-0......I'd rather have them win the series at home, but it's ok if they sweep the series by winning again in NY

So tonight, Gerrit Cole is on the mound, which puts them in a pretty good position to win especially since their offense seems to be waking up. If they do that, it puts pressure on the Dodgers to not force a game 7.

🤦‍♂️ stay classy Yankee's fans...

Ejected?? They should be banned from the stadium for life and forced to wear Mets apparel.

Their offense woke up because the Dodger's were playing a bullpen game. We will see how well they do tonight against Flaherty. Also, the Dodger's kept their top relievers on the bench so they will be fresher tonight.

Baseball is 50% mental though, so if they had a good game, that can really get them going. This lineup is more than capable.

Actually, it's 90% mental according to a Yankees legend ;)

"Baseball is 90 percent mental. The other half is physical." - Yogi Berra

Met Yogi once. I had moved to Charlotte, NC after college and there was this great little brick oven pizza place just down the road so we went there a lot. We became friends with the owner who was Neal Zarrelli who had been an opera singer in NYC. So one day we went in and Neal was talking to a guy who looked familiar but didn't think much about it.
We ate and as we were leaving, Neal called us over to meet an "old friend" from NYC. It was Yogi Berra. He invited us to sit down and he chatted with us for about 15 minutes. Cool experience.

He won 10 World Series, which is absurd. That’s more than any team had won in their entire history with the exception of the Cardinals.

It was a good-ish WS. Freddie getting MVP was a no doubter. Dodgers have work to do with their pitching rotation in the offseason BUT Ohtani and Glasnow coming back to the mound next year will certainly help with that.

Kershaw should be moved to the pen and get some work once a week or so. Then unleash him for the playoffs. He's too fragile to be a daily starter.

Now that I've watched the last three games… I always watch recorded games, which sometimes presents a challenge to not learn the result before I've seen it.

Dodgers in 5, just like I predicted! I was not rooting for the Dodgers. I was rooting against the Yankees.

Most who are not part of Yankees Nation are haters. We love to say "Thuhuhuhuh Yankees lose!"

Now that those two clowns in the stands physically interacted with an opponent's player on the field, and other numbskulls were high-fiving and hugging them on the way out, I dare say that most of us Yankee Haters now despise their fans as much as the team. I agree with those who say these two thugs should never be allowed to enter Yankee Stadium again. Maybe that will get the attention of those who cheered their actions. It would be interesting to find out the blood-alcohol levels of both perpetrators, and all the jerks who supported them. Drinking in moderation is fine, but those who drink in order to get drunk have demons to conquer.

Game 5 turned into a laugher! The laughter is primarily directed at Judge and Cole. How many little leaguers recall being told "Keep your eye on the ball!"? Well, all of us. And Cole thought Rizzo was fast enough (and close enough to first base) to get there before Betts? That was not a big league play. The Yankees have themselves to blame for not forcing the Series back to LA. They won't blame one another, of course. I'm sure several players are being hard on themselves for their performance in all four losses.

Say what you want about Yankees fans, but notice how there’s no stories of any arrests or violence in the Bronx following this series. Us fans may be passionate, but we’re not going to start a riot. And Philly is the worst offender when it comes to that.

Sports "riots" are usually the result of exuberance over a team winning. I suppose there have been a few riots over the years after a team losing, but that's rare. I don't know if Yankees fans have ever rioted, looted, etc. after a win, but there are several famous incidents in the ballpark where fans threw things at the other team. No team can claim perfect fan behavior.
