Don't dig up old threads ladies.

Its better to dig up old threads than start a new one. Ladies.

You go ahead and use that law degree you got from watching Law and Order re-runs all weekend and kick some ass!

I assume that we ARE waiting on Apple. Eventhough all we need is the carrier file, im thinking that Apple is telling Att to hold off until 3.1 Most iPhone users might now even bother updating just a carrier file let alone know what the heck one is. Apple will prob send out a text to update and then include the carrier file.

This is just my opinion and if you dont like it well........heres some bunnies

now goto sleep
We are not waiting on Apple. MMS is supported with the 3.0 software update that came out earlier this year. AT&T is who we are waiting on!

ummm....actually we are waiting for new 3g radios from ATT AND for Apple update to the OS 3.0, to 3.0.1....I don't see anywhere in the OS for me to send a picture as MMS, as this function will come with a new update.

Do you need some bunnies? You know the MMS flood shows no signs of abating, right? It's going to be a long, dry, 20-more days. Then comes the plague of "hey, how come my mms don't work, cuz teh jailbrakez wuz good..."

Geez....

You are clueless.

Anyone can make a rumor. Adding facts are more difficult. Unless you have a link from AT&T or Apple, well, it means nothing. Sorry.

@sgood: No one knows anything.

take it for what it is...a rumor. i dont remember where i read it and i dont think it was a legit enough source to backtrack and try to find the link. just passing on what i read, dont have time to make up false rumors for fun.

And I, read the same post. I believe that Apple HAS the updated Carrier File, and when they release 3.1, the AT&T switch will be ON for iPhones. The word 'Switch' is to make it so everyone on here can understand the technical info. LOL

All we are waiting for is for AT&T to enable our accounts for MMS. It is currently a block on our accounts. Some people have actually had their accounts unlocked by mistake and had MMS for a while until caught by AT&T. No hardware, no software, just a block.

Well, there's the opt-out, then there's the fact that the current US AT&T carrier file does not support MMS. We need the block removed as well as the updated carrier file. Without the carrier file, we may be able to receive MMS, but would not be able to send.
