Me thinks you Americans will be lucky to get it before the end of September.
How sad that U.S. citizens can't use all the promised features from a U.S. product with a U.S. carrier, while other countries can.

It will be great to see how many people jump ship from AT&T once other carriers get the iPhone. I think they have fleeced us enough.

I am still wondering why this thread was resurrected.

Its a shame how other countries can't stay the hell off US boards, or invent their own iphone, or create a forum where they can hangout. But then again, if they had their own forum, they'd probably be babbling in different tongues.:D

Seriously? Babbling?

How many languages do you speak? How else could you judge the superiority of US English? You must be fluent in at least three tongues.

We Americans really need to get out more, explore the world, see the people, learn the cultures and languages. We are getting so provincial.

Some of these "Americans" need to come down to the south and we'll show 'em babblin'. :D

I'm totally joking, okay?

Note: I'm from the south, so I can make one of myself.

If you must know I speak two. However my jib is not about US, its about jibs against the US. As for your opinion about "We Americans" yes you do need to leave the booinies and get out more. Try living in a large US city.

Ah, thanks for the laugh. If anyone is going to tell me to get out of the "boonies", he should at least have the temerity to spell it correctly. Thanks for proving my point.

Just out of curiosity, which two languages do you speak?

Please tell me why you specified "large US city". Why would Berlin not count? Or London? Or Frankfurt am Main? Or Amsterdam? Or Ontario?

Don't get me wrong, I love the country of my birth. I dedicated the first half of my adult life to its service, and continue to do so in various degrees. But I've also seen the value and worth of other countries and cultures, enough to know that a knee-jerk "I'm better than they are" is really inappropriate and immature.

But don't feel bad. Hopefully, you've learned to not disparage people because they are from some place you know little about. Now you might know that foreign (to you) countries might not be so bad, and that Southern people might not all be a herd of unwashed rednecks.

I never travel in a herd, and I bathe daily.:D

Now then. The failure of AT&T to be prepared to support MMS right-the-heck-now is exactly that. A Failure. Of epic proportions. And if someone from across the pond wishes to agree with that, I will purchase the first round of Bier, or Bierre, or that horrible mouthwash my ancestors keep up in Scotland. Stuff must be bad, they have to hide it in kegs for up to 20 years. Tell you what, I'll take it off your hands...

Clemson > USC....

And I live in Columbia :p.

Egad, man! You actually LIKE that shade of orange???
LOL

Here's a true tale:

A taxidermist was driving to Atlanta, and got lost on the way. He ended up in the foothills of Western Carolina, in a little town called Clemson. Needing directions, he walked into a saloon to ask for some help. As soon as he walked in, he noticed all the bar patrons were dressed in some form of garish orange costume, or with tiger paws painted on themselves. He stood out rather painfully. You could hear a pin drop. One of the meanest-looking guys in there walked right up to him and said, "jes' who are YOU? What are you lookin' for? You some kind of tax collector?"

"N-n-n-no,", stammers the poor taxidermist. "I mount animals..."

Then the big guy wrapped his arm around the lost man, and said in a loud voice, "It's OK boys! He's one of us!!!"

You know I tease, right????:D:D:D

Not sure where this response to my post came from. I am from the U.S. and am just upset that other countries are getting the features we were promised. It just shows how we can invent great tech but other countries get to use it to the max.

I also agree that we in the U.S. need to learn other languages and stop thinking we own the planet. Our version of English isn't even original, it's slang. This country was founded by illegal immigrants that took it away from the native inhabitants, yet we complain when immigrants come here illegally (and legally). They take our jobs, people say. Yet we refuse to work for low wages, demanding higher minimum wages so we can raise a family off it. We spend money that we don't have (credit) and when are in default, we feel it is our right not to have to pay it back (bankruptcy).

lol... I'm not upset at all, son. I'm laughing at you. And at your repeated refusals to answer simple questions, like:

What makes American cities superior to any others?
What languages apart from English do you speak?

To which I now add:

To what countries, other than the US, have you ever travelled?
How many of the US States have you ever visited?
And, are you older than 25?

If you cannot answer these honestly, at least admit it was wrong of you to xenophobically condemn other countries and cultures.

And if you can't do that, then just walk away.
