Working for me... I swear I tried about 3 hours ago and it didn't work, but now it does. All I can say is FINALLY.

Listen here is what i think.Nobody is gettin MMs untill friday the 25th 5.0,5.1, 5.2 whatever cant ya just wait till friday

just tried to get AT&T to pop off my MMS opt out....still a no go. He said I'd just have to wait until the 25th and that it didn't give him an option to remove it....oh well.

I've just been testing my opt-out by e-mailing phone#@mms.att.net

I still haven't seen a response by anybody that has MMS working that e-mailed themselves and had it go through.

I get a rejected e-mail fairly quickly that my MMS is restricted.

I got nothing. I can email myself from my phone as an MMS though.

That's cool. It's a start anyways.

Weird thing is, sometimes when I e-mail my phone, it takes a LONG time to get the rejection e-mail...I wonder how speedy it really is. I never really e-mailed a mobile phone before.

Interesting. I tried this afternoon, and got the standard !. I just tried now, and it's working. :)

I'm not jailbroken, have 5.1, and am vacationing in Las Vegas, though my account is in SoCal.

what is this carrier update you guys keep talking about? sorry, i'm new to this haha. But why should I have to "hack" or "jailbreak" my iphone to get mms? shouldn't i just have the software update for the iphone and be good to go?

Are those of us who dont want to update past 3.0.1 going to be able to get MMS working a legit way? I dont want to update to 3.1, but lets say they have a carrier update on friday, is itunes going to say " you have to update to 3.1 first, then you can get the carrier update"

How will it work?
