Me also, just pushed via software update. Didn't change the iDisk logo. I thought it was changing to a purple/pink cloud or something.

The iDisk image changes to this after a restart. For those that cannot get the update yet and are curious.

Are you still running 10.4.11 like my wife is on her desktop? If so, the MobileMe software update hasn't yet appeared in software update. Let me be the first to predict 10.4.12 (with MobileMe enabler) on Tuesday. If I'm right, I'm on a roll; if I'm wrong, well, it won't be the first time . . . .

MobileMe update

Still no update for mobileme. Wish people in their blogs would report fact and not just a bunch of fiction......

The MobileMe update 1.1 IS out. You have to launch system prefs, then click the .Mac icon, then wait a minute or so and it will prompt you to upgrade. If you click OK it will launch software update. If you just go straight to Software Update it won't appear at all. I thought that was a weird way of doing it, but it seems to work...

As a side note, after running the update it took about 15-20 minutes before i was able to log back in to MobileMe from system prefs.

I can't figure out why this hasn't been released yet, especially with the MobileMe setup instructions specifically mentioning it!

iDisk Update to Mobileme just arrived!

Having struggled all day yesterday with wife's iPhone, & trying to get it to synch with iDisk & searching for the elusive Mobileme (!) FINALLY I just got advised of the update. It is 10.15pm UK time.
Yesterday I got lots of 'server not responding' messages as I tried to login to MobileMe so hopefully Apple now have it sorted. I guess the overload perhaps was due to new 'iPhoners' trying to synch.
Good luck,
rogerram

Has anyone been able to log in to me.com using the web interface?

I registered to Mobile Me on July 10, but have not been able to log in via the web since (I'm always told that my username or password are incorrect). I was able to connect from .Mac (now Mobile Me) in system preferences and am able to sync. I'm also able to connect to the account from my iPhone. However I still cannot log in via the web interface.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

That happened to me and you have to click forgot password and reset it to something different than the original password you chose. It seems this problem was common some who have registered for mobileme with the trial when mobileme first came out.

Hey. Thanks so much for that resetting password suggestion.

I bought a Black 16gb iPhone from the Apple Store in Lakeside and purchased Mobileme at the same time as you get £20 off. After setting up MobileMe I could not log onto the mail server via Mac Mail (although it worked logging in from the website albeit with the email not working.) I tried everything but no good!

I just reset the password and it worked straight away! Thanks for that. You've saved me alot of hassle. I was even going to resort to calling Apple tomorrow.

Nice one. Cheers! :)
