I got to the login page once, but now it just redirects me to the same old MobileMe about page. Is this the same thing everyone else is getting?

I'm on a trial account ATM (quickly got it to get an @mac.com email address), so I was worried it might have more/different issues.

That's how it is for everyone, the login page is flickering on and off. I actually logged in once but everything was slow and mail wouldn't load.

Mail servers were kept online as part of the maintenance - the me.com servers went live a few days ago. The iDisk is probably just the local version - your iDisk is mirrored on your local computer, to make file access quicker and still be available when you're offline.

My iDisk is not mirrored on my Mac. I don't have that option enabled.

I can't get to me.com either ...just shows the promo page not the log-in

Has the comma trick been around for a while and I just never knew it? I wanted a way to send mail without receiving it for that same address, but never could figure out a way. Well, that comma trick works in any account. I just added another email address after a comma to my Gmail account (an address I own that's through Google Apps, so not even the same domain name), and it works like a charm! Sent myself a message, it shows as from the other address, and I can pick and choose from those addresses in the Mail Compose window. This is quite nice.

It's not showing on my iMac (20" 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo). Apple seems to have pulled it.

Apparently MobileMe isn't working that well at the moment so I guess they're waiting until everything is safe and sound.

Yeah, they will probably release it later tonight or tomorrow.

I can't even log in to .mac in the preferences and mac.com is now showing 'down for maintenance'. Something's happening ....
