Thanks!

Reverted everything and started over with the new CAT. Handoff option is available and checked, but still no handoff from my iPhone or iPad yet. I'll wait a bit to see if it kicks in since there is a known delay.

Run the diagnostics and post a screenshot of it here please.

If someone could post the original cloudpaird for comparison of mine, that would be great. I am not 100% about the one I attached.

Your file is the same as my original one.

Thanks for the confirmation and the fine update to CAT. I deleted the replaced cloudpaird file, uninstalled the older CAT, installed your updated CAT and everything (minus Hotspot which I don't have subscription to) works.

I have updated the OP once again, to reflect the link to Sysfloat's latest CAT release. I have also removed mention in the OP of having to download the earlier attached cloudpaird file by Scoobie, as that is no longer required with the latest CAT install.

If you have any problems with the latest CAT and getting Airdrop and the like to work, make sure to post screen shots of the CAT diagnostics window for Sysfloat, along with model of your Mac and other pertinent information.

Sure thing. Everything looks like it's OK I guess, but still no handoff.

Although I haven't tried the new CAT, that is the same screen I have when using the previous CAT and replacing the 10.11 cloudpaird file with 10.10 cloudpaird on my late 2011 MBP with the new BT card. I had no handoff/airdrop. I suppose it's a 10.11 big since there are so many peeps saying the same with newer macs.

Hello
CAT work on my Mac Mini mi-2011 with csrutil disabled but my Magic Mouse freeze. :(

I have tested the new CAT on my MacBook Pro 2011 with 2012 card on 10.11.1 and I can say it works well. :) all I had to do was disable SIP, it was nice to see that SIP is enabled after CAT runs and reboots!!

First of all, thanks to sysfloat and all who are making this possible for the rest of us.
So, with the latest 2.1.1 CAT, do we still need to boot into recovery first and disable SIP, reboot, and then run CAT 2.1.1?
I am just trying to make sure I understand the sequence/steps before I make the jump from Yosemite, where CAT has been doing great for me.
Thanks again,
Tom

To be on the safe side, disable SIP first.

is it safe to install this tool yet?

I used the previous one when the GM came out and wifi stopped working after i reenabled rootless (no hardware found) i had to install new copy on top of the old one to fix it, then installed tool again and the new iTunes update made my wifi card show no hardware installed again when i turned my mac on yesterday, i tried fixed this and nothing i did worked so i had to do a clean install of 10.11 GM.

currently running El Capitan GM on a 13 inch early 2011 MBP

should i try install 2.1.1 or wait till its more stable, because it currently shows "
Warning: This version of Mac OS X (10.11) is Experimental! Only partially tested on El Capitan" when i run system diagnostic

It is supposed to give that beta warning. All that is doing is reminding the user that things can go wrong and make sure to backup first.

I ran the new CAT without any problems. My specs are in my signature. I would recommend people use the new CAT, and have a good backup in place before proceeding.

Despite the tool working for me before (mid 2011 Macbook air). I just updated to el capitan, reinstalled the kexts before I used the new tool, tried the tool again, and am getting this error...

CAT does the patching with the original kexts. You didn't need to reinstall kexts before using CAT. That may be why it didn't work. Try it again by putting the original El Capitan kexts back in place, turn off SIP via Command + R > Utilities > Terminal command "csrutil disable, run the newest CAT and see if anything changes.

Check the OP for a link to the latest CAT.

Edited to add: From your screenshot, you didn't run the latest CAT.

I reinstall elcapitan gm on my Mac mini 2011

I try manually :
replace Mac-C3EC7CD22292981F
by mine
in : IO80211Family.kext/Contents/Plugins/AirPortBrcm4360.kext/Contents/MacOS/AirPortBrcm4360

and same problem, trackpad and keyboard freeze everytime.

It's true. It works without wifi.
And everything is ok
