I don't care. I have a new ipod and laptop. My purchases are not going to be through apple, in terms of major hardware developments, for a couple of years at least.

Those are things that probably won't happen at WWDC 2006...

...either way, tho, I don't need anything right now (a new iPod would be interesting, but at WWDC, no way...)

...personally, I'd like to see the 'Cinema Displays' updated - just because they're gorgeous but over-priced at the moment.

Since I have a buyer for my iMac G5 and a 20-inch viewsonic handy, I'm waiting to see what the Mac Pro is going to look like and WHEN it'll be available.

I'm hoping Apple will provide more hard drive space than just two.

If it's the same or going to be weeks before it's available, then I may consider a MBP refurb.

I'm hoping on some info/specs on the Mac Pro... for the sheer reason I'm expecting to purchase a new cpu in early 2007.

Do I really need two pro machines? lol.

A new iPod wouldn't hurt, been wanting to upgrade this iPod photo for some time now..

Free MacBook Pros for everyone!

I would like to see the MacBook Pro get a upgrade before I get one for school.

I'm just excited to see what Leopard is going to be all about. I'm not in the market for any new hardware anymore, but some new software might be nice. I'm pretty convinced that the Power Mac replacements will be announced. One of those will probably be in my future, but not for another 2 years or so.

To see what leopard is all about and to hope that nothing completely outdates my G4 laptop so that I don't need something new to run new programs

Leopard, with built-in virtualization that supports graphics hardware acceleration.

I know, it's a bit of pie in the sky. But Apple needs some new software goodies to drive pro hardware sales. If they can figure out how to let the guest OS utilize the ATI x1600, I'd jump on the MBPs in a heartbeat. As it stands now, there is simply not enough differentiation between the MacBooks and MBPs.

What I want from WWDC is for Leopard not to be a slight improvement over Tiger (with only a handful of new features, like previous updates like 10.2, 10.3, 10.4). But to totally be jaw-dropping / mind-blowing!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Apple and OS X, but this time round Apple have some serious competition with Vista, and if Apple want to intice even more Joe Blogs Windows users to join their camp, then they have to create something very special when it come to Leopard.

I Have faith in you Apple, don't let me down...

That's my dream too... But I don't think it will happen till around November.

Serious competition from Vista? You've got to be kidding me. We all know that Vista has the same features that OS X had 2-3 years ago or even more. Vista is going to be a load of crap, but that won't matter since most people who buy Windows computers just upgrade their OS when they buy a new computer.

Realistically, we will see an announcement like "Apples entire pro line is 64-bit..." (new MBP and Mac Pros) or something...and a full preview of Leopard, which will launch in late spring.

My guess is iMac gets bumped to Merom at Paris.

You heard it here first. ;)

Mac Pro. A decent look at Leopard's features would be nice too, but I'm angling to buy a Mac Pro not long after they come out(*), so that'll be my main interest.

(*) Depending on cash flow, naturally.

I am considering purchasing a Mac Pro as well, but I think that I might wait until Kentsfield is released.

Can anyone say "Vista Panther" one in the same, and as for vitualzation I sure hope not, I want to dual boot and thats it, I want to keep my OS X seperate from my XP, and you can not have a system utilze the graphics card hardware acceleration at the same time think about that for a min then respond, ahving to OS running at the same time can never be good, they both are using the same low level system resources and will result in future crashes, as long as the option at least of dual booting is included I will purchase Leapord becuase I am not willing to have to OS needing the same hardware all the time it is bound to present problems for everday constant use, however if Leapord allows me to dual boot and to keep the same partition that I have now with everything remaining itntact on both, then sign me up.
