I'm gonna swing by best buy and grab it after work today. If the verge review is true and it doesn't last all day it will be going back. Bad enough that I need to charge my phone all the time my watch needs to last me from the time I get up until I go to bed.

I'm still very excited for this watch. I think that it will really prove to add value to my day to day. I have put off getting a fitness tracker all year to grab this, and with the details coming in about constant heart rate monitoring this could be one of the best ones to ever come out. Quantifying my 30 mile bike ride, or a cross fit class will be very interesting.

I think the verdict is that this watch deserves a shot. They have $250 coming their way from me today.

Note 4 in copper and silver 360 with the silver metal band is going to be a good look for fall 2014.

That straight part of the screen is what kills me. "Moto 345" would be more honest :p At least the new LG watch is properly round.

Catastrophic? I think you're being overdramatic.

The reviewer said that he'd get 12 hours tops, so in other words you wake up at 8am and it'd be dead by the time he went for dinner with friends.

Sounds pretty appalling to me. Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

I'm stuck, black or stainless?!?! They both look awesome. I agree about battery life, 12 hours will kill this from selling.

I'm curious why they are gouging for the metal band. $50 more when its released in the fall, or $80 if you buy it separate, why is it more if I buy it separate?

Anyway, at 12 hours it will just be a toy for me. Or probably just for the gym if the fitness tracker works well.

12 hour battery life? Aaaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha.

Not to mention they only gave themselves 4 days before irrelevance as the iwatch is going to steal their thunder.

Completely agree--at the absolute minimum, the watch should hold a charge long enough to use from when I wake until I go to bed--12 hours, hell even 18 hours is not acceptable, not even close.

I wonder if they were hamstrung somewhat by pricing....

Moto has created a certain pricing reputation - at $250, this may be the best there is.

Apple, on the other hand, doesn't seem to care about pricing it appropriately. They feel they can make the best device possible and price it where they want and that people will buy.

I mean how much cheaper is a 45nm SoC than a 20nm SoC? I'm expecting the iWatch to absolutely blow all current offerings out of the water in terms of features and battery life.

Just seems set up for Apple to steal the show.

All that said, I still think the Moto 360 is the best looking smartwatch that's been announced/released to this point and I'm still thinking about picking one up. If I do, I'll just make it a Moto X/360 package and go all in :p

Gonna pick one up during lunch and give it a spin

One thing I miss is about the Moto X is the Google Now integration. That was incredibly useful

None available at my local mobile and big store. Got the deer in the headlights look at both places. :)

Not even listed on BB's website.

Hmm Moto site is not loading, guess it's getting hammered. I can order the black one from BB or Moto, but don;'t see any way to get the silver one.

edit: Bleh, backordered already.
