Accessing from overseas by any chance? Having the same issue. The app from the US iTunes Store tells me I’m in an unsupported region but the website doesn’t go as far as telling me it’s the region issue. Should be able to work around it when on my home network. Accessing from the U.K. btw
Well that's a big unknown at this point - what exactly will port out of Vudu. D2D doesn't typically show up in your purchase history as owned per title, just as the D2D transaction.....and those are all tied to UV. Same with any purchases from other providers or sub-accounts. The linking to MA is done via the Vudu account itself.
I'm really hoping everything goes over.....we'll know in a few hours.
I think something happened because they said they were ready last night, but then the MA site went down and didn't come back until this morning. I'm guessing they are trying to be ready because the Vudu accounts are probably going to represent that largest batch of movies importing for people.
My Vudu just linked... some of my d2d movies are showing, others aren't, not sure if its because of the studios (haven't looked up what they are) or because i have a couple of UV accounts linked...
Also, in the tv app, my movies not purchased in itunes are showing but don't have any artwork
Edit: Some of the one's not showing from vudu (d2d) are lionsgate and paramount, but one is dreamworks... shouldn't that one show?

So it seems Vudu/UV HD or 4k/DV movies that move over to iTunes are available in 4K/HDR/DV (if available) which is expected per Apple's policy but the opposite does not seem to be true. Movies that I purchased in itunes that are now 4k/HDR/DV show up as HDX only on Vudu. Bummer.
And so far if you have a HD movie in Vudu and iTunes has it in 4K - it will only stream in HD (even though the title screen shows 4K)
Okay. So if the movie Ghost in the Shell in Vudu does not have the MA logo will it show up on my Apple TV?
No. Only movies that have the MA logo will port in all directions. Not sure why exactly as other Dreamworks titles are MA.
How can you actually tell what version is streaming (other than visually) on the ATV 4K since the output mode it always fixed?
With the Siri remote and the movie playing, swipe down to bring down the info area. Here it will list the quality.
I was only able to connect google. It won't even load the pages for apple or amazon. And vudu has me login but won't complete linking.
Edit - vudu finally sync'd. And amazon finally loaded. Still no go from itunes. Site is probably just getting hammered.
Any rumors on when/if paramount will join?

yeah definitely teething issues. I managed to finally connect Vudu. Its connected but My Movies in Vudu doesn't show any of the movies from Movies Anywhere yet. I will wait and see if they sync.
Apple TV developer playback HUD. You can turn it on if you connect your Apple TV to a Mac with Xcode (either via wired or wireless).
