Yesterday, I removed my 3G from it's case and screen protector. Dang, this thing looks good now... This screen was meant to be naked, looks super sharp and the colors are very vibrant. I like how the edges of the home button are perfectly plush with the screen, so nice!

Now I just need to remember to keep it in my pocket to minimize scratching.

Has anyone else converted?

LOL! I have! I had a film on the front and a white incase slider. The film started to peel off, so I thought f**k it. Took the slider off too. Forgot how good it feels in my hand! I've blu-tacd the caser to my dashboard in my car for a makeshift holder for the Tomtom app. I just make sure the iPhone always has a designated pocket at all times.

I know where you're coming from. It feels so good. Like swimming naked or something.

Killer..

i removed the screen protector after it was peeling up, but i kept the case on. the phone seems slippery to me without the case and the back gets so smudgy looking.

I had a clear thin case but took it off to remove the sim in order to activate my son's iphone (now ipod) after a firmware update. I did not put it back on and forgot how nice the phone feels without any cases. The only thing I am using now is the screen protector after i received a scratch a week after using the 3GS. I do have to agree that it scratches easier than the other models. I have not had any screen scratches on my previous two models since the day they came out.

Naked most of the time.

It is too pretty to tuck in a case forever. I have a nice low profile hard case that I use when I'm going to football games to be out of my regular routine. But when I'm in my work week or just at home I always leave it naked.

This program works for me. The hardcase saved me when it slipped out of my hand once.

The other thing that is nice about naked is it slides in and out of your pocket with ease...

Mine has always been naked. :)

My 3G and I have been naked since I bought it!!!

Errr... I guess just my phone. ;)

I almost broke down and bought a case the other day but decided against it. :D I just like the way it looks and don't want an even thicker phone in my pocket.

Mine has been naked for the summer and I regret ever putting it in a case. It's just so much better not in one and with no screen protector.

I had mine naked for the first year I had it. After the 3GS (disappointment) was released I decided to stick with my 3G for another year, so it was time for some protection. I can't afford another phone right now anyway.

OMG! all this talk of nakedness..... i thought this was a family friendly site!!! :p :D

me: i'm too anal.... i've got my baby all wrapped up and protected!

I felt like that, too, about my 3G. That is, until it came time to sell it and I had to accept that it didn't look as good as I hoped, even though I always kept it in a soft lined pocket of my purse and was very careful with it. My new 3GS will stay in a case and have a screen protector so that I can say in my ad that it has always been protected!

Enjoy it, but make sure that you always have something soft to set it on when you do put it down...the plastic cases and Apple logo do show wear over time.

ORLY!! ;) You just took it to a whole new level! Get that mind out of the gutter. :p

My theory is... the phone was built the way it was on purpose. In average use of any product I'd expect a few scratches but just because it's an iPhone I'm not any more paranoid about it than I was about my old phones. I just don't want it to break.

If it breaks due to average use (no trauma) then it's a defect in the phone. They shouldn't be making a device that NEEDS a 3rd party case. I'm stubborn and like my phone naked and skinny. :D Plus I get lots of looks and shocked observers asking me about it! ;)

Mine's in a leather case when in my pocket, no screen protector, it comes out of the case when surfing or whatnot.

I tend to see more naked iPhones than those in a case. Maybe it's a British thing. So I feel having a case makes me more unique, I like to spot my phone easily.

My 3G and the original one have always been naked.

I did have a scare the other day. I was in the garage getting in my Jeep and I had the iPhone in my hand and a tote bag with my gym clothes in it. The phone jumped out of my hand and I braced for the awful sound of iPhone hitting concrete but it never came. It landed in the tote bag. A few days later I pulled my iPhone out at the gym to scan my membership card and the phone jumped straight up out of my hand. This time I caught it.

I've dropped mine about 4 times onto concrete (the first time was the night the 3G was released. I almost died!). All I have is a couple scratches. :D

I only have my zagg on mine. Looks naked but has some protection. Looks so much better then a bulky case.

I have a BSE on my 3GS and I wish I had heard of BSE back when I had my 3G. The BSE is fantastic! It's a slight yellow tint and a small gloss look but it's great.

Mine was wrapped up for about 6 months then thought sod it.

Is so much nicer uncovered but even though its lived in its own trouser pocket its still somehow got a crack on the back at the bottom :(
