Strongly considering this chair now. It's on sale for only $169. Does ANYONE own this chair that can give me their opinion? I've been unable to find any reviews online.

Finish question
Hi,
I just found your old woodworking/desk thread and had a few questions.
First of all you did an awesome job on it!
I would love to make a desk like that but I'm concerned about finishing it as I've never done that.
Since you had to strip and sand away the first finish, can you elaborate on exactly what you did after to get such a great finish?
Specifically, the name of the finish, number of coats for both the stain and the clear coat.

such a beautiful desk, I was talking to my wife I need to replace my desk, but I don't have any carpentry skills, I guess time to head to iKea.

I'd stop by a local OfficeMax or Staples to try out in person, first. If you're looking for real (quality)leather, it's probably not what you want.
Most experiences I've had with chairs from manufacturers like this, haven't been pleasant.
