I've looked into the problem. Elias has indeed changed the save directory from /var/mobile/Library/Application Support/UltimateCallRecorder to the much more logical

/var/mobile/Documents/AudioRecorder

in the newest 4.x series.

Confirmed - I've also tested it. Both parties recorded on the iPhone 5 - unlike with earlier versions. Great!

Everytime i try doing a conference with audio recorder installed, it hangs my iphone. Is it a known issue?
 
Can you mute the arabic lang please

I manually muted limneios repo installation and upon making a phone call it notified me it couldn't find the warning audio file and it disabled the app. (I used ifile, deleted the two files and added the two files offered in the first post.

What I ended up doing was installing from limneios repo then installing from .deb offered in first post and that appears to have worked.

The app that lists recorded conversations crashes when starting it, and when listening with ifile there are 2 files. One for my side one for other side, wich is REALLY annoying.

After a iphone restart the whole app soundrecorder icon is gone -_-

It still says it records in phone app but no files are made.

Edit: after respring app icon is back. Still doesnt record even though record is blinking and on kn phone app. Its set to record everything automaticly.

Edit2: never mind it still records normal calls. When using a headset it does not record....thats weird. Is it the fault of this mute fix or the creator of the app?

This is from a 5s.

As I've explained initially (see THIS), it's easy to combine the two into one with Audacity.

So, recording using BT headsets don't work on the 5s, unlike on the 5? The post at https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/18576822/ was a little vague.
 
My 5s is certainly recording perfectly on BT headset.

Iphone 5s 7.0.4 evaders jailbreak and latest of Meinssys versions.

I have yet to test bluetooth. But a wired headset(3,5mm) does not work. Since i use that alot its a shame^^

Hope it'll also work with no need to have JB access to the old device but, say, just the UDID - see for example the case of iPhone5's getting instantly completely useless because of their batteries and the subsequent switching to another handset or just plain forced OS upgrades to non-JB'able iOS versions. (The combination of which happened to me with my previous iPhone 5; this is why I had to purchase another license. Fortunately, it's still much cheaper than, say, the $15/device Boldbeast Recorder Basic Edition license for the Nokia N8/808 I ended uphaving to purchase twice when one of my N8's died.)

GREAT work

Its so annoying that the warning is there for all of us that live in countries that doesnt have these laws.

A bit of offtopic question...
I noticed that the merged file used for sending via mail wasnt deleted in the tempfolder. Anyone else noticed that?
That could be a problem if you dont have much space on the phone

Exactly - this is why I've compiled an in no way complete list of WinMo / Symbian call recorders not playing warnings. (And I haven't even mentioned the myriads of Android call recorders...)

I still love your work but it doesnt seem to record at all now.
I have reinstalled the original and then your on top of it.
It lookes like its recording but there isnt any files in the viewer...

I tried the original without your deb first and it worked...?

Menneisyys2 have you already tried recording a call while having a 3,5 headset plugged in? doesnt work for me like i said.

iphone5 verizon.

And the strangest thing happened right now (trying to solve this)...
Reinstalled the original and made a call. The warning was played on my iphone but the call was never put through to the caller... The other phone keppt beeping like in no answer...
?

And it won't, I'm afraid - it never did. (Can't test it now as I'm travelling and haven't packed a 3.5mm headset, only a BT one.)

Prolly because it's Verizon? Dunno. Ask the original dev if it shows the same symptoms.
 
Ok so I need some help how do I know if I have your version properly installed?

I had installed a version I found on insanelyi, I uninstalled it. Then I have Ifile so I installed your version via Ifile installer don't think that worked so I used the var root media cydia auto install method. But now when I open it in settings, it asks me to pay via paypal but it doesn't divert me properly it crashes before on the insanelyi version it diverted me to paypal properly help pls thanks

If you have it installed, the easiest way is to call another phone and test if the warning goes through or not

Well, it's a cracked version - and a very old (224) one. Are you REALLY sure it did take you to the PayPal page?

I, personally, would remove insanelyi from my sources ASAP. While I couldn't find backdoors in early cracked versions available on another pirate repo, noone knows what is contained in other repos and/or subsequent / tampered versions.

I'm pretty sure it was this cracked & old version that messed up your phone. If you in no way can get it fixed, I recommend a clean restore as Apple still signs 7.0.4 / 7.1b2.
 
installing from iphone

Is it possible to install from cydia or do I have to download from dropbox to my pc?
Can I add a source in cydia?
