I installed over a purchased copy. Did you do the same?

It doesn't need to be installed on an official copy (albeit certainly can be). If you previously install the dependencies (CS and PreferenceLoader; can be auto-installed if you install teh FakeCarrier + Respring combo), my DEB will install just fine; otherwise, it won't be installed at all.

There, then, won't be any difference in functionality.

I did a fresh restore/set up as new/jailbreak on my phone and now Audio Recorder allows me to use the share function again. I wonder if it is something as simple as interfering with another tweak. I did not install AppSync this time around, but other than that, I can't think of anything I did differently.

Pls help

I have just come across your post and would be really grateful if you could please tell me how do I install your file so I do not get any warnings. I am going to jailbreak my phone today (been waiting for mobile substrate). I previously purchase the audio recorder app from limneios's repo and my question is do I need to install his app first and then do I need to install your file ?

If there is any information you can forward to me I would really appreciate it and thank you for providing this service

I have an iPhone 5s and I too had an issue on my previous phone which was an iPhone 5 when you receive a call waiting and then when you answer the call the phone freezes for a short while. I did mention this to the app developer a few days ago and he assured me that the issue with the call waiting has been fixed but since I've change my phone to the iPhone 5s I have not had a chance to test it.

Is there anybody else out there who whilst using the app when they receive a call waiting and they then end their current call and take the second call does the phone lag

Dunno - it, as I've explained above, works flawlessly on my iPhone 5... try a factory reset without restoring any backups. Prolly your phone is too dirty, and hence the problems?

so annoying! i did a fresh restore installed the app and activated it.
still have the same issues with Mute and waiting call, installed your deb no warning (AWESOME, THX AGAIN) but issues remains.

Maybe you can watch this video to get a better idea...

I made a phone call and was able to record the other person talking to me(they could hear me) but the recording didn't record my voice, using the phone as normal, no wire, bluetooth, or speaker.

Edit: it also did it when someone called my phone. It's not recording my voice from my phone either from ear piece or speaker, it only records person on the other ends voice.

Using a iphone 5s 32gb Verizon.

go to settings, privacy, microphone...see if AudioRecorder has access (needs to be green)

It's not listed, and all listed apps are green.

thats your problem right there, you should be able to see it as an app who requested permission to...
you should see it there...idk how to help you (Reinstall maybe?!)

I had installed it via the deb listed originally. I uninstalled and installed via limneios repo and the app showed up and requested microphone. So I'll manually mute it as listed on the first post.

Thanks for helping coco135!

Just a heads up.

I manually muted limneios repo installation and upon making a phone call it notified me it couldn't find the warning audio file and it disabled the app. (I used ifile, deleted the two files and added the two files offered in the first post.

What I ended up doing was installing from limneios repo then installing from .deb offered in first post and that appears to have worked.

Thanks again for all the hard work!

So this only blocks 1 launguage?
Here in NL its legal to record all calls without warning, as long as its personal use only.
I need it to block dutch on my 5s as warning message, if there is any. I can only buy the app if im sure warning etc can be removed.

You mean the warning.caf and the plist? Those haven't sufficed since version around 226 - in the meantime, Elias added an additional level of CRC check in the MS (CS) dylib.

Please read the last update of the first OP:

"No language restrictions any more."

That is, it now works with all languages, incl. Dutch.

Mine directly installed (w/o installing the original first) will also request it if you start its recording list app via its icon.

I'm absolutely sure it's not interference. I've very few tweaks / installed Cydia apps:

- Respring
- FakeCarrier
- iFile
- AR

I definitely don't have AppSync (I don't pirate).

AR can't share even when just installed from the official repo - it crashes.

System language: US EN, no iCloud allowed, no Siri, no log sending to Apple.

You can safely install my DEB on top of Limneos' official version. Then, you don't end up having to make sure you've installed the dependencies (CS and PL) first.

I have a Question.

I want Original recordered file's save folder.

======================================

AudioRecorder in select send mail

I don't remember seeing an icon. So I uninstalled limneios, installed your .deb and again no icon. It shows up under settings, but not under privacy/microphone as there is no icon to click. I also tried searching and no results.

I found a way to get it to work as I mentioned previously but just so you know on a iphone 5s 32gb verizon no icon, at least for me.

Wait, apparently respringing didn't do it, I did a complete power off/on and the icon showed up.

Sorry about that. Thanks for the support and hack!

I can't find UltimateCallRecorder.

/var/mobile/Library/Application Support/UltimateCallRecorder

For those who are experiencing the crash when trying to use the share function - check your other stock apps like calculator, safari and Mail. Are those working for you? Something was happening with my previous restores that made these apps crash, but they are working for me now and the share function is also working. I assume if those apps weren't working, it would cause Audio Recorder to crash, as well, when it attempts to launch the Mail app.

YES! The problem was caused by my not setting up any mail account - I've so frequebky clean restore my iPhone that I didn't have the time to explicitly enable synching in iTunes to get my accounts on my iPhone. (And I haven't enabled iCloud either.)

Now that I've enabled mail account synching, sharing no longer crashes. (Of course, it's via mail only.)
