Did you start my configurer before your phone started to freeze up?

Uninstalled audiorecotder reinstalled ver 0.4-62 then ran configure. Rebooted my phone freezes up needed a hard reset?

Try removing AudioRecorder in safe mode. Does it still freeze after reboot? it shouldn't as it's only AR that installs a dylib, not my app. (My app patches this existing dylib but doesn't have its own boot time dylib. That is, it can't cause boot-time freezes.)

How do I get into safe mode?

When running the configure do I have to reboot right after changing 'remove voice warning'?

I uninstalled audiorecorder in safe mode. Removed the configure file. Then reinstalled then I opened the configure chose remove voice warning and then on reboot my phone froze.

My audiorecorder doesent work crashes to the home screen and freezes my phone till I do a hard reset. Can't change to ingoing and outgoing messages.

Also I see my old calls when I had the app before but I can't listen to them? Could this be screwing the app up?

Don't know what I'm doing wrong?

But does the recorder work (with warning, of course) after a fresh, full reinstall, without applying my configurer / muter? If it does, then, we can safely go the manual file overwriting way, which means you won't use my configurer. Not an easy way, but will definitely work.

Audio Recorder unreliable...

Hi there
I purchased the license from Limneos and installed the configurer to remove warning. It works for a short while and then calls won't be recorded even though I made sure to press the recording icon.
This is highly unreliable as some of those calks are important and you end up not having them.
Can you please help?

I too have noticed some of my calls haven't been recorded. Dunno why. I don't think it's because of my configurer as it doesn't have a dynamically loading, runtime component. It must be a problem with the original Limneos app.

I, currently, don't know a solution to the problem other than switching to using Symbian for your calls (any decent Nokia s60 / ^3 etc. smartphone manufactured after 2003-2004 will do. I have absolutely no call recording problems with the Nokia N95 / 808 / N8. Let me know if you need more help on hacking them to get rid of the beeps / what apps I recommend etc.).

My recorder didn't work after fresh reinstall. Crashes to the springboard freezes my phone?

Are you sure uninstalling it worked just fine - that is, you haven't seen any error messages? BTW, did you change its app name via my configurer before uninstall?

Hi there,
Using another phone other than iPhone isn't an option.
The app wasn't recording at all now and so I went ahead and performed a complete erase of the iPhone (using SemiRestore7). now I want to install it the right way to make sure I don't srew up anything and so I looked at your post and honestly with so many updates and updates I couldn't figure out what would be the best option to install it clean from scratch. Do I install your muted version only or do I first need to install the original Limneos version? Do I install the Limneos version only and then your configurator? if so which of them?... as you can see the questions are many :)
I remind you I have purchased the original version from Limneos so please take that into consideration in your reply.
I will appreciate it if you can provide some guidance on this as I am sure other future users will get confused as well and such a guide will be helpfull.
Thanks in advance.

Get Limneos' version and, then, get my configurer from my Cydia repo.

Hi Menneisyys2,

I did that and the first trial I did it recorded fine. Then the following call no! no call would be recorded at all.
And then it hit me! I found the reason which maybe isn't news on this forum but it certainly was to me.
All this time when the app wasn't recording calls it was apparently because I was using the corded headphone cord!:D
As I removed the cord and made a regular call, the recorder worked.
I even did another trial by starting a call in a regular fashion and then plugging in the headset jack and continuing the call. Something funny happened: the first part of the call (without the cord) was recorded fine and as soon as the jack was plugged in, it stopped recording and so the recorded file was in the list of recordings but it included only the few seconds before I plugged in the cord.
Is this a known bug?... is there a way around it? are you working on developping a work out as part of your configurer?...
Thanks.

Headphones and Bluetooth headsets aren't supported by the recorder (it's in the description in limneos's repo)

the tweak records the audio to two different files, one from the microphone and another from the earpiece

you need a program (such as audacity) to combine these two separate streams (or audio files) into one stream (or one audio file) so you can listen to both at the same time

As darricksailo has also stated, for the time being, use Audacity. I've previously posted a quick tutorial on combining two files into one using it.

Sorry guys for not having released the long-promised automatic combiner - I've been extremely busy lately.

Does anyone know if Audio Recorder will conflict with Super Recorder? My Audio Recorder is working perfect but I'm also looking for a tweak that can record voice memos with an activator. I was told Super Recorder can but wondering if it will cause issues with Audio Recorder.

Any feedback will be appreciated.. I know I can just try but I figure I ask first.
