Limneos just released a new version of his AudioRecorder which allows both the beep and audio warning to be disabled.

Works as he states on my iPhone5S on 7.0.6

It is on his repo.

Great. May have been his getting sick of my continuously circumventing his protection that made him, finally, release a completely mute-able version ;)

No option to hide the recording icon though?

All good

iPhone 5 iOS 7.0.4 - I just tested the new version (5.1) and it works flawlessly. The options to remove the legal message and the beep sound also work fine.

The red recording button during calls can also be removed using the last config tool on this thread, as in the last AR version.

So everything's fine.

Ios 7.1.2 compatibility

Hi there
I have a 5s with 7.0.6 and have been wondering whether to upgrade to 7.1.2 just because of the fact I have not seen anywhere a firm confirmation that Audio Recorder is indeed Fully compatible with the latest ios.
Anyone can conform this if they upgraded?...

I was using it on 7.1.1 with no issues whatsoever, haven't yet reinstalled it on 7.1.2 but have no reason to expect that it wouldn't work.

Besides, developer's of current paid apps are usually responsible for keeping them current with new firmware releases.

Transfer

Hey Guys! Thanks a lot for your help.

I've been using the official app with the AR configurer for one month now, and it's working perfectly thanks to you guys.

My problem is that I need to transfer some call-recorder files to my computer. I've found the files on this path (/var/mobile/Documents/AudioRecorder) but there's 2 files for each call : one for the mic and one for the speaker, and the .caf extension is not really helping.

Do you have a solution to that problem please?

Thank you again ;)

After some search on the internet, I found a not so bad solution, it's an application that can get the two files together and change the extension to .mp3. The app is called Audacity (link : http://audacity.sourceforge.net/?lang=fr)

If you've got any easier solution, please let me know ;)

You could break a law.

Please ensure your call recording activity does not violate any law.

In the United States, under federal law recording your phone conversations with others is legal, as you are a party and consent to the recording. However, some US states require consent from all parties; however, as is the case in California, a notice that the call will be recorded may suffice - all other parties are consenting by continuing the call.

Hello Menneisyys2 ,
Any update ? For my question ?

Thanks again

Before I officially update the tool, you can permanently hide the icon by just deleting (or moving elsewhere in the file system) the three

rec*.png

files under /Applications/AudioRecorder.app.

Tested this on my iPhone 5; all is fine.

All this can easily be done with iFile right on the phone.

Let me know if you needed a way to be able to quickly toggle between the two states; then, I'll try to find some time for updating my tool.

Hi,

Was just wondering if the app you're talking about finishing was the one that joins the two audio files together?

As a general question does anyone know why when Ive used a Bluetooth headset for over an hour the call doesn't show up on my list?

Thanks!

Nope, the configurer app that dynamically lets for en/disabling the blinking icon, without having to mess around in the file system in iFile / via SSH.

Ahh ok sorry! I noticed further up the thread you mentioning some software to automatically rejoin the call recordings instead of using audacity? Is that something you're still working on?
Thanks!

I planned to come up with an app but haven't had the time to do it. Will consider doing it as soon as I have the time.

No worries, I don't know about anyone else but I'd happily pay for that app, if you'd consider a private commissioning...? We use it at work to record our mobile calls and as we employ more people putting the functionality on all of them would be great!
