Native Blu-ray ripping for OS X is finally here!

Is makemkv still the way to go? as its now a £50 bit of software are there any free alternatives as good?

its quit e bait of money to invest if theres software as good out there

MakeMKV is currently free for dvd and blu ray while in beta. It has been in beta for a while. You just have to re-enter a new key, posted on the website, every month or two. It works well, and frankly, well enough that I consider it to be worth the purchase price.

Thanks mate I didn't realise they were publishing a code to make it work!!

agreed. I will gladly pay the $50 as soon as it's out of beta.
