Does anyone have a NATO style strap on their Apple Watch? It would have to be a two piece style NATO strap as the one piece design would cover the sensors on the bottom of the watch. Here are some quick mockups.

I wear NATO or Zulu straps on all three of my G-Shocks for work. I would probably want to use one for the apple watch with an adapter. Saw one in a link here the other day but it's $55 or something. Crazy expensive unless that comes with the adapters.

I just received an email that my Monowear NATO band is shipping. I've heard that they're stiff and contacted them about it and they didn't think it's a problem once it's worn for a bit. I bought a nice leather watch band that I'm wearing on my AW now and I had to do a little work to break it in too. I'll post my thoughts and pictures when I receive it. I ordered it early on and I probably overpaid but it's supposed to have black adapters which should better match my SG Sport.

They are! I got the red and striped band on ebay from sellers "watchbandgirl" and "JaysAndKays". The grey one came from ClockWorkSynergy.com

and just as an FYI - the red strap is VERY stiff. Like, blisters on my wrist stiff. The others were a little stiff but broke in after a couple days.

Most nylon bands are stiff from the factory.

The striped one is 22mm, and the others are 24mm.

I haven't bought any NATO straps but I've bought other bands from eBay seller nato-international and I've been very pleased with the quality and service.
They do have 2-piece NATOs.

I have laced up an 18mm band from another watch and it did not lock on me randomly, it felt fine.

What do you mean "didn't lock on me randomly"?

The watch is supposed to lock itself if it loses contact with your skin. It's a security measure.
Saw an other thread on here where someone was using an orange one-piece NATO strap and he said the heart rate sensor still worked. Hard to believe but that's what he claimed.

Thank you for the clarification....
Let's say I don't care about that also...
The strap will fit the Apple watch?

It should fit as long as you have the classic buckle adapters to run your NATO strap through.
I think you'd want a 20mm strap for the 38mm watch and 24mm for the 42mm.

I do have the classic buckle from Apple
And I have 42mm SS
Are you sure 24mm will fit?

The grey and striped straps from the pics I posted above are those same straps. They are good ones.

I also have the Olive/Orange one from here (sold out now, but they come in and out of stock)
This one came out of the box VERY soft but I haven't worn it yet:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/24mm-2-PC-B...lon-3-Ring-UTCZulu-Olive-Orange-/281254735394

I've read a few times on this board that striped bands are often softer out of the box.

There's nothing negative about it. It's being honest. I clicked the thread thinking another company was releasing bands to find out it's a company that not only makes only regular watch bands, but watch bands that would remove functionality from the Apple Watch. lol

I have to agree with you. I think you should change the title, OP.

I have a few 22mm NATO straps from Gnonom Watches. All my NATO straps are 1 piece, not sure how well that's going to work with AW, waiting for Click to show up before I find out.

Here's my Daniel Wellington strap!
I cut it into two pieces and then superglued it together, so that the heart rate monitor would work.
