Here's my Daniel Wellington strap!
I cut it into two pieces and then superglued it together, so that the heart rate monitor would work.

hello
I received the Nato strap from http://natostrapsco.com

How to install it to the watch?
I know it's not a 2 piece strap
I have the classic leather band from Apple..

I don't care for the sensors on the back
I don't use the heart rate monitor
For some reason if I place the watch on top of my wrist the closing buckle in not under it

Are you planning to use the lugs from the Classic Buckle or did you buy separate lugs?

Either way, I hate to say "just google it", but the first page of this google search here has tons of info on how to use a Nato strap.

That's a good solution if you want to keep the sensors available. The band looks good on. Did you back stitch at all to lock the ends?

For those without a sewing machine, thinking you could go to an alteration shop or maybe a leather shop where they do repairs. They shouldn't charge an arm and leg for it as it would be a quick stitching job. They would have heavier duty machines in case the fabric is difficult to get through. I have a sewing machine (haven't used in ages) but have thought about making my own band for a customized special effect. Easy enough to buy the buckles (and springs if you bought one of the spring adapters).

lirn8, since you mentioned you don't care if the ceramic back is covered, there are videos that will instruct you like this one:

It does a nice job explaining quite a bit so thought worth posting.

Are you picking up an adapter online to use with the nato for swapping out with your classic band? Probably your best bet. You could remove the small screws in the BCB adapter that came with the watch (need the correct screw driver). The screws are very tiny and you don't want to strip them. It might be worth your while in the end however to buy the same type adapter with the rounded bars (from a good manufacturer or supplier, see links in other threads here regarding adapters) and simply swap that in place of your current Apple BCB band/adapter set up and then fish the nato band through it as in the video.

Thank you first thing
So if I'll follow this movie it will fit?

I don't have a nato type strap but if you have the available adapter and the adapter fits your band I can't see why not. What size watch do you have and what size band did you order? Do you have an extra adapter to use like the one that comes with the classic band? like this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silver-Watc...ffType=OrderSubTotalOffer&_trksid=p5731.m3795

Multiple people on the forum in other threads have recommended using a separate adapter rather than removing any screws in the adapter that came with your classic band.

I have the SS AW with the black classic band and was thinking about reusing the adapter from it with other bands. Then someone posted this reply and it made me reconsider and pick up the adapters instead:
https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ers-from-freedomoclock.1892681/#post-21467164

Are you aware the adapters with screws use specially shaped screw driver heads? I don't know anything about a thread locker although I believe Locktite is sold here in the States. Not sure where you could pick up screws to fit the apple adapter or if they standardized between countries in the event you really should not be reusing them per Apple.

I bought a black NATO band from Monowear that came with black adapters already installed. It looks really good with my SG Sport. It's a more expensive than most bands but it's a quality band. I pre-ordered it way before the watches shipped and didn't know what a good price for a band was going to be.

Could you take some pics with your SG Sport?
Really like to see how well the color matches.

I really want this for my space black to swap out with my link:
http://www.clockworksynergy.com/shop/p-nylon-ss-watch-strap/pvd-premium-nato-6/

Unfortunately, ukwatchstrap only ships in EU, so no good for us on this side of the pond. :(

I've asked clockwork synergy if they could make that nato strap available for Apple Watch (as they make straps for Apple Watch already). Would be ideal (for me and the space grey crowd) if they made all of the buckles and the lugs coated with their black PVD material as well.

Let you know what I hear back. :)

Update:

Clockworksynergy will be shortly selling the lugs separately as well as getting in an additional 18 colours in nylon coming very soon!

The red/black/khaki one I want won't be available until August.

I'll be keeping an eye on this too. Thanks for the heads up. I've been looking around for that bond color combo in a 2 piece 24mm and haven't found anybody with them.
