Navigon 1.2 is out! [MERGED]

I couldn't get it onto my phone for a little bit. I had it downloaded but then it complained about not enough free space. I have 1.2 gbs plus navigon was already taking up over a gb of space. I then removed pictures so it had 2 gb of free space. No luck. So I removed navigon from my phone now I am re adding the app and so far so good.

It works nicely! Night mode is cool, TTS does the do and I REALLY like the slick iPod integration... gonna look for more POI's, etc.

I thought about going this route at first but it warns that it also removes the app data. I didn't want to lose my favorites as I had a few places in my favorites that aren't really on any POI databases (I just added them while I was there with friends). I ended up clearing space by removing other things so I wouldn't lose my data.
Yeah its odd because i tried making room, I had 2gb free. Plus navigon was already installed but it still had problems. Its an apple issue not a navigon issue i think. I didn't have any data so i was not too worried. (actually I never thought about that either way its not a problem for me)
Mine is still downloading. Can someone please tell me if the state wide search works correctly now? In the previous version, when choosing an entire State search, it really didn't find much in the way of POIs. For example it wouldn't find Walmart, Dick's, etc. that are all over the place however it would find them in a nearby or city based search.
Since the app is 1.4gb it would need 2.8 free to install (needs room for the full download and then the install from the downloaded file).
That makes sense. They should make it so it can install from the computer though. Also so it can use the 1.3 gb from the old version toward that number.
Its all changed to a new voice...I am pretty sure. Its not two different voices. At least not for me.
In the midst of the 3.1 upgrade, but I saw this post and downloaded the update. It should be all ready to go when the upgrade finishes. Looking forward to checking out the new features.

I'm not sure if it is due to 3.1 or Navigon 1.2 but Navigon opens much faster and is much more responsive than it was. So far so good.
How long did it take to actually install? Mine has been stuck at about 66% on the install part..... for about 10 minutes... but don't want to cancel and restart if it's working and just takes a long time. iPhone 3G 16GB here.
Not perfect yet...
Still has the bug where if choosing an address out of your contacts list that has a street direction (N, W, SE, etc.) before the street name it doesn't find it. This bug is severely limiting the usefulness of the contacts integration for where I live.

It is awesome.
TTS makes all the difference in the world in this app.
The new voice is superior to the old one.
The iPod controls rock.
This app is worth far more than it costs. Don't waste money on the others. Navigon is the one to have.
