Took a while, but the update is finally out. They've added live weather updates, in addition to the iOS4 background features.

I just downloaded it and noticed that it didn't keep my in-app live traffic update I had purchased with the last version. Has anyone gone in and re-purchased it? Did you get charged, or does it tell you that you have already purchased it and let's you download it for free.

I "re-purchased" it again (after downloading the 1.6 update) and it did not re-charge me for the traffic update.

Has anyone installed on their iPad. The old version worked fine but version 1.6 now has font display problems if you go into Options, Categories.

Looks like a great update! New maps, weather, parking, updated RealityView (one of my favorite features). Sounds great. I bought it the week they first released it, and really appreciate how they keep making it better and better.:)
Does this work on iOS 3.x ?
It says that it requires iOS 3.0 or later. :)

Tell them, either through their support page, their Facebook or Twitter account. They're pretty good about communication.

Downloaded and works great on iPhone 4!

I didn't have to repurchase traffic/panorama view, but in the past when I restored iPhone I had to and you never get charged more than once, it just asks for your password to validate you have already purchased it.

Thanks Navigon for great update!

What's up with the (auto) zooming in and out? At first it was strange but appears to be related to speed.

Also I can't remember but thought I bought traffic. Is there a way to tell without "buying" again?

EDIT:
I believe i have the receipt for it dated 11/11/09. Does this look like traffic and do I just buy again and not be charged?

One thing I don't like in 1.6 is that it looks like the Contacts button at the bottom of the main screen has been replaced with the shopping cart. I already have the traffic and panoramic. Is there a way to move the contacts back to the bottom of the main screen? I don't want to have to also click options every time.

Considering buying this, I was thinking about buying it at $30 but didn't want to make the jump. This may get me to buy it though.

Does anyone know if navigon is planning on utitlizing the compass and gyroscope along with the GPS for more accurate tracking? Many times when I get to a red light it will think I'm heading in the other direction and tell me to make a u-turn. I just think that with so many sensors along with cell tower triangulation, it should be able to more accurately track you even if it loses GPS signal, at least for a while.

Also, how is traffic? Does this mean when giving routs, will navigon take traffic into consideration when displaying rout options? Does it re-rout you accordingly if traffic is back up? How accurate is the traffic?
Thank you.

It is possible. More - Edit - drag contacts to the menu on the bottom.

Yup, it's all been updated for the retina screen it seems - everything is very sharp.

App seems to work well now - love how fast it is on my iphone 4 too!

Had to "re-purchase" traffic and uk post codes (not panoramic view though for some reason), but after being asked if I was sure I wanted to buy etc etc it then popped up that I had already purchased it etc, so not a problem.

Cheers to gb7 for that tip, never knew I could do that.

Nice job Navigon

Good to know! Just to clarify, the MyRegion versions do not support Panorama 3D?

I live in SoCal, so you can imagine that traffic is a huge issue for me.

Traffic is great. It looks at everything on your route and tells you when new things pop up while your en route.

Okay, I just tried to have Pandora and Navigon running together, and after the first pause, pandora didn't resume playing. :( Can anyone else confirm?

I've had a stand alone garmin for a while now but for $18 my region Navigon is making it tough to pass up. Just one question for you folks with an iphone 4, what are you guys using for a windshield/car mount?
