In Terms of features, I would say you are wrong. The iPhone X is alone with Face ID, gesture controls, OLED display and form factor is considerably much different than the iPhone 8. Not sure how you’re factoring “Not much.”

That's kind of irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, as AMAZON didn't even record any profits at all until a year or so ago, reinvesting all of it's extra cash back into growing the company... the AMAZON company is VERY valuable and probably not really all that far behind Apple in Ability to profit. Just has no profit history to compare to. I don't remember the revenue numbers but they're pretty staggering as well... for both Amazon and Apple.

But it really isn't the gist of this thread... You are right... the thread seems to be phishing for a fight. But comparing Apples to Amazons isn't really a fair trigger to pull either. Amazon has more fingers in more pies than Apple ever thought about fingering. I stand with Apple for my Phones and Computers and Tablets... They're pretty awesome. I don't really care if Apple is the highest grossing, profiteering, revenuing company on earth over it's share of market and all... I care that they do at times lose their way in all the hype and hurry, and the quality of my experience is diminished significantly... I do not like Android systems. They are better now than they used to be, but I got my taste of it early on and just haven't had much of an appetite to try more and more if it. I HATE Microsoft products and their propensity to be the Facebook of computer operating systems... they collect and encourage much collecting of information about individuals, that I think is really not quite what computing and sharing is about, much like Facebook. so I don't want to own any of their computers or gadgets I'm not required to for my job or life work... Apple at least gives it a small effort to help keep my life mine.

Apple will hold price on the current X as it is their best-selling iPhone. Apple won’t make a Plus sized X because there is no market for it as people who have to game and watch movies on a smartphone couldn't afford it.

Do you want to take the opportunity to correct some of this thinking in hindsight?
