New Band Colors

is it just me or does anyone think the product red band isn't a proper red? It's too orangy. I've had it for a few days and am not too happy with the color.

yep.... VERY orangey.... depending on the light it looks very orange and occasionally looks red....

while I like it, I wish it were a REAL red... I ordered the orange but doubt i'll keep it unless I absolutely love it...

I saw them both up close and in person and had a difficult time distinguishing between the two.

As of now, I've only seen them under glass at the Apple Store, but didn't have any trouble telling them apart - the red looked pretty distinctly red and very nice (and mine should be arriving the day after tomorrow), the orange... well, it's nice for orange, but orange doesn't do anything for me.

Picked up the Turquoise band on the weekend as an extra to the SS 42mm Product Red watch I also picked up....

Interesting thing is that on the smurfs iPod inventory checker it comes up as Glacier White!....he was confused and initially stated they didn't have any Turquoise in stock and look bemused when he saw the Glacier White listed as we both knew that it's not listed on the Apple Store...wasn't until another smurf brought it from back that we realized it was the Turquoise.

Love the color! ( this is in an Australian Apple store)

Exactly the same thing happened here... couldn't find the turquoise strap until they realised it was under 'glacier'.

Glacier sounds a lot nicer than turquoise

I just bought the turquoise. I love the color. Glacier white is much more descriptive. The Apple person who named it turquoise needs an eye exam. Or less weed on the job

if I hadn't found the PERFECT skin for my phone... I'd be buying a silicone case in each color that I have watch band so that I could coordinate every day!

I currently have the midnight blue case, that I'm going to return this weekend... and it was so fun (and coordinated) to wear my band and have my phone and ipad mini matching!

Agreed! I intentionally don't wear my red band and red case at the same time.

I want to use lavender and turquoise at the same time, but I'm not sure if I want a lavender case and turquoise band, or a turquoise case and lavender band.

I picked up a midnight blue band & really like it!

I haven't been apart of the "switching bands" crew. However, now I think I've caught the bug. Planning on picking up a Fog or Walnut (wished they were a bit darker though)

I'm hoping they release a forest green color at some point.

How does everyone clean their sports bands?

so far I've only had to rinse mine under the faucet... including the white one! I rinse my watch and whichever bad is on it every morning after my workout.

OK cool. I might try that for the bands.

I don't have any of those "recommended cloths" that are suggested on the support page. I guess I should pick those up at some point!
