For those of you who ordered BTO (build to order) what is the status of your order?

Obviously if you ordered the 4850 or 8gb of RAM you are on a couple week backorder.

If you changed some of the other option like hard drive capacity, CPU, mouse, remote, etc., you were given a short wait time.


What is the status of your Mac?

Yeah, I ordered one for my parents on the same day as you did. I checked today and theirs still hasn't shipped either. The estimated delivery time still matches what you have above. I wish they'd ship the thing already.

I ordered my parents a new iMac on Wednesday (3/4). It shipped the next day (3/5) and is already on the truck to be delivered to them today (3/6). It shipped out of Pennsylvania. When I ordered my MBP a few months back, it was shipped out of Shanghai, China. I hope this delivery is the iMac and not the free printer it came with!

EDIT: Just looked at the email my mother received and it is just the printer and AppleCare. I should have realized this ridiculously fast shipping time was too good to be true!

iMac 24" 2.93GHz with GT130

One question. Am I able to pick it up from somewhere because I wouldn't like to wait for a week only for deliver to my house.
 
Ordered Tuesday with Education discount, they originally said 3-5 days to ship, then I added the keyboard w/ a number pad and then iWork and it bumped it to 8 days.

Got an email saying it would ship early and then just a bit ago my status changed from "Not yet Shipped"

to:

Prepared for Shipment

Mine just changed to "Prepared for shipment" a few minutes ago :)

Mine would have been here by now, but they changed it to the new iMac model which is why its been delayed.

Yeah, that's the same reason that mine (my parents actually) was delayed. I'm glad that they upgraded them to the new model but ticked off at the delay in shipping. I live about 300 miles away from them and was going to be in town during the time they were supposed to receive it. I could have been in the same house and helped them set it up. O well, a remote iChat set up it is, then.

Ordered the 2.93GHz today. The only changes were wireless keyboard and mouse...

For those who got a shipment confirmation from Fed X..... Where are they shipping from?
 
Ordered mine on 4th March, shipped on 6th March:

3.06GHz Core 2 Duo
nVidia GeForce GT130 512MB
4GB DDR3 RAM
640GB ATA HD
Apple Keyboard w/ Numeric Keypad
Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse

I basically chose the 2.93ghz model and upgraded the graphics card to GT130 and the processor to 3.06GHz, as well as customising keyboard and mouse.
Took 2 business days to ship out.

TNT says delivery: March 10 - March 11 :D

Mine's coming from Shenzhen, China.
 
I got a weird problem while checking my status. It says:

"We're Sorry

A technical difficulty has prevented us from processing your request. Please click here to return to the Apple Online Store."

Can someone check and see does he have the same problem

It must have been down cause I just checked mine and it still says...
