LOL, that was funny.

I do have an optimistic streak though. But I've learned to combine that with a healthy dose of realism/pessimism, especially with rumored release dates.

This is partly why I'm not as confident about quad-cores in the next iMac as I want to be…

lol fail, Macworld didn't talk about iMacs or Mac Mini =/ I think it will be a silent upgrade.. which means the cosmetics will remain the same.. WELL MAYBE, i don't remember them talking about the new Cinema Display either =/

They talked about it at the notebook event saying it would launch in November. Assuming the new iMacs will be using quad core processors and have LED backlighting along with Apple wanting to show they don't need trade shows, I'd expect to see a small event to launch new products.
