So how long does an order stay at "Prepared for shipment"? This is my first genuine online Apple Store order and the excitement is killing me!

I hear of people getting better deals over the phone and in-store so definitely worth a go, I doubt if your a student they would knock any more off though.

I got an email to say my iMac shipped from Shanghai on the 29th by TNT and I am now being quoted the 15th Oct for delivery. 2 weeks of waiting. It better come quicker than that.

Mine is currently in transit between the Netherlands and the UK, having got out of China last week just before their week-long national holiday kicked off.

Typically, as it may turn up tomorrow or Wednesday I'm out of town until Thursday! Doh!
