Being Nice has nothing to do with it. Of course you will have some backlash when you make some anecdotal claim without showing us how you know this or providing some confirmation. It's nothing personal, but its the Internet and anybody can say anything.

Believe me. I have this thread watched. I will certainly be returning to this thread to verify if your claim is true. For your sake, I hope it is accurate and others do as well regarding the iPad.

Since the DigiTimes report was mentioned above, I took another look at it, and as far as I can tell it doesn't actually say that the purported event in early April will be held at Apple Park.

I hope this is accurate I really want a new iPad Pro. I personaly thought they would announce an event this week and I suppose tomorrow is still a possibility but highly unlikely.

hmm with that info looks like either Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday next week is when they might send out something. I am hoping Monday since they suck and I would love this exciting news to cheer me up in what inevitably will be a crappy Monday.

Really? It's rumors so far, no tech parts or tech specs leaked anything about it yet . I believe it's coming but Apple won't introduce anymore iPad until winter 2017 maybe even spring 2018 now

I totally get that but I'm not about to put my job at risk just to prove myself right now when the truth will be known soon.

And really what proof can I provide that would make this a certainty? I can post product detail pages we are developing but then someone is bound to say they are fabricated and even they aren't it doesn't allude to the launch date.

Ultimately it's up to readers to put different sources of information together to deem if this is true or not. I believe there are other posts in this thread which speak to this being a possibility.

I already stipulated that I understand the rationale for people who doubt this thread so clearly I knew going in there would be backslash I still did it so people making purchasing decisions had information therefore being nice has everything to do with it.

I'm glad you have it bookmarked I look forward to your comments once the announcement is made.

I don't intend to rehash points already addressed, however; on a rumored website where most of the news isn't factual, it qualifies as speculation, which includes yours, regardless what you believe or want others to believe. It doesn't change the shape or form of your thread.

As for your job, of course no one would expect you to post where you work. I think thats fairly obvious without staying. You can't put a "Source" together if one doesn't exist, not even "Analysts" can do that. It's basically mud slinging and hoping what sticks per se. But being your confident enough in your post(s), I'm forwarding your thread to the editors/publishers of Macrumors For their viewing pleasure on this.

And yes, I will look forward to returning here in weeks time to veriy what your claiming.

So idk if you can say this although i dont see why not, the telco companies already are recieving and preparing the day when orders go live. Sir are you cnfirming the new iPads do exist and are indeed coming in the next weeks? Or is this just another rumor from inside your company?

I appreciate it if your correct anyway since I was gonna buy a mini 4 tonight, I'd heard from a good source an iPad update was coming about 3 weeks ago, after last weeks update I thought "hmmm, that must be it" even though it didn't make much sense (I'd heard there was far more to it than a new coloured phone and basic model iPad)......I haven't heard a thing about the mini being updated but I'm gonna wait it out now just in case since it isn't urgent I get it

What is speculation to you could be fact for someone else but regardless i agree with you for how it's viewed on this site which is why I strictly said it's up to the reader to decide if they want to believe it or not.

You're right I didn't have to state the obvious but your whole rehashing of points already discussed were obvious in the first place. We're just trying reiterate our points of view.

So is this a rumor your getting from someone in your company or did they actually confirm it?

I can't confirm if we have received any hardware I simply don't have that information. What I do know is that we are preparing for an April 14th release. The April 14th date was already a push back from another date. Could apple push it out again? Possibly but we have been told to work towards the 14th.

Telco's don't carry macs so no clue

This would align with what happened because everyone expected the iPad Pro refresh in March but that was superceded by the minor update to replace the Air 2. I already figured a announcement would come in April there was not enough against that rumor and now you've confirmed that for me. Now lets hope they do not delay again. ;)

I get that and I'm not expecting people to believe me outright which is why I stated in my original post it's your call if you want to believe it or not.

But just looking at other pieces of information out there what I'm saying could hold some truth. I mean look at the front page of mac rumours it's an article about IPad Pro commercials which have been running since mid February isn't it conceivable that they way to get rid of existing stock for a new release?

Call me crazy but I believe him. What he is stating only confirms and follows what all the other leaks/analysts are saying. Also another disagreeing with the few people pointing toward a Fall release
