I get that and I'm not expecting people to believe me outright which is why I stated in my original post it's your call if you want to believe it or not.

But just looking at other pieces of information out there what I'm saying could hold some truth. I mean look at the front page of mac rumours it's an article about IPad Pro commercials which have been running since mid February isn't it conceivable that they way to get rid of existing stock for a new release?
Hopefully you’re right. I won’t bash you for making this topic but if it doesn’t come true I think more people will respect you for saying you were wrong. That said lets hope this does happen as months ago they did say mid to end of april was when we could see the new pro line-up

Call me crazy but I believe him. What he is stating only confirms and follows what all the other leaks/analysts are saying.

Everything I can see is pointing to yes, that usually is a big indicator.

The only way I'm wrong is if apple pushes out the date again and if they do I'm man enough to come back say I was wrong and apologize. Even IF that does happen the information I'm providing alludes to the notion that we are expecting a spring release not something in the winter along with the iPhone.

Oh geez my wallet is not ready for a $1000 to disappear on a new iPad.

sadly people will be unlikely to believe somebody who has what only 40 odd messages. Need a track record for people to believe.
However, the post count is growing pretty quickly, due to activity on this thread.

From the OP, s/he seems legit, and I have enough blind hope to believe it, so I'm on the believing bandwagon.

There is no release date to begin with, which wouldn't make you right or wrong. What would make you entirely wrong is if April never see's an iPad release at all OR you provided information which was proven false.

Even if you say "The new iPad could release in Fall", it wouldn't make a difference.

None of this matters for reasons already stated, because what you post or what Macrumors indicates in reports doesn't hold weight. Lastly, you don't need to apologize for anything, because you have nothing confirming your claim. If you definitively stated a release date with complete certainty, then you would apologize for making false claims. But as it stands, your predictions are worthless because you lack the credentials to prove your source UNLESS, it turns factual.

Does Macrumors or analysts owe apologies for reporting false rumors? No. point is, your future predictions hold no value, regardless of what your employer indicates. And I mean no Snark behind this, Essentially, this thread means nothing.

Again, if you're correct, so be it. But using rumors, analyst predictions, or prior reports or leaks, are frivolous In terms of Apple's track record.

It is, but it's also a way to generate bad vibes with people.

I buy an iPad Pro, and two weeks later, after I cannot take it back, a new one comes out for the same price, just more "AMAZING" and "BEST ONE EVAH!" lest we forget, "FASTEST IPAD YET!" than the one that the box hasn't been thrown away, yet.

At least, in the "Back to School" sales in August, you get something, like an iPod or a gift card when you take their old inventory, that is now not the latest after the September event.

I just hope you're not posting these from your work computer.

Thank you OP for adding some excitement to what has been a pretty bland week here on MacRumors. Unconfirmed rumors is what this site is all about.
It's a forum what did you expect and yes Macrumors does cover speculation of future products so I don't what your deal is invade you didn't notice the iPhone 8 and other rumored product pages on the sites homepage.

I'm looking forward to coming back to this thread once they are announced to see what the doubters have to say then.

I can see their rationale behind having these doubts but ultimately I'm Just trying to do a nice thing here only to be **** on.

And if they aren't announced you'll just disappear and never be heard from again, that's the beauty of making any outlandish claims on an internet forum.

I think there's a really good chance as well. I was going to order an iPad Pro 12.9" from the AT&T Premier website, but they were all sold-out.

Interestingly, the shipping time for the 12.9" iPad Pro in Apple's website is April 13th-20th, compared to April 1st-4th for all other Apple devices, including the 9.7" iPad Pro. Perhaps only the 12.9" will be updated now and the 10.5" one will replace the 9.7" until October?

I think you're spending way too much time and intellectual capacity on this especially if you say this thread means nothing.

I'm passing along what to me are facts because these are events that are occurring in my day to day.

Take them at face value take them with giant grain of salt or label me a troll it really doesn't matter to me.

If I'm proven right rest assured this will be the last time I share anything on these forums. I expected some backlash but this is just ridiculous.

If you think I'm being a troll or just full of it in general then why succumb to the farce? Just move on. I don't get why we as a people are so hell bent on tearing each other up over pretty much nothing.

If I'm right awesome if I'm not you'll post something mean either way in a week will anyone really think twice about this?

I was trying to say that there hasn't been many new hardware rumors this week. I was appreciative that the op added one. Speculation is one of the main reasons I come here. I dont get why you replied to my post. Is it wrong to thank the op?

My apologies it sounded like your post was sarcasm and was faulting me for being excited about the new speculation the op brought let alone the website, hence why I was put off.

If your claim does end up being true, I would love to see you make more claims like this in the future :)
Hoping for a new iPad mini honestly, but new iPad pros shouldn't hurt apple. Or iMacs. Or iPods. Or a new Apple TV. The 12.9 iPad Pro is slipping when it comes to shipping dates so hopefully this does mean new iPads are coming!

That's New York a lot of other cities don't have stock and estimated delivery is well into mid April

I live in a major city and I checked eight Apple stores within my area, they all have available stock as of today. Clearly your area will vary and not one city will speak for all.
