Got 2x. Saddle brown and midnight blue.

The blue one's buttons don't work. Will exchange that for another one.

Thinking of keeping just one. I am not sure which one to keep for my matte black 7.

would you say the pictures are pretty close to the color? I saw a video online that made the grey look much lighter. Don't live near an apple store so thats why i ask.

I would say it's pretty close to the color in these pics. Maybe just slightly lighter but not dramatically so. It will probably look lighter in bright light. Keep in mind though it will darken with use anyway. On my last phone I had a midnight blue leather case that pretty much looks black after a year of use.

The one I picked up today has the same crease...which also bummed me out. IMO that's a defect. Not sure if I'll return or what :/

Loads of them have the creases on the corners. It's just the way they are made!

Sorry if it's been covered before, do you guys find this case quite slippy? If so, maybe it would get more grip over time? In 2 minds whether to get one (loved the on on my 6S Plus) or stick to using it naked.

Not at all. I found the tactile response and feel of the Nomad buttons to be excellent even if not quite as good as the metal buttons on the Apple. Also, I actually dislike the coppery/bronze color of the Apple buttons, to the point that I considered swapping the saddle color for the grey or black just for that reason.

I really like the coppery/bronze color buttons on the saddle brown case. It adds a nice contrast to the case.

Sea Blue. I must say the color looks nicer in photos than irl. It's much lighter aqua blue in person.

I'm debating the same thing, though seablue and saddle brown are my ones i'm debating.

I went with black leather for my matte black phone. Looks great, feels great. I'll probably never think about a case again for this phone.

Coming from having a black leather case on my 6s+, I was very pleased to discover the new buttons on the 7 leather case. Practically the only thing I didn't like about that case was how hard it was to push the buttons.

Into the 6th day with the saddle brown and its aging very nicely. Its gotten darker, and less slippery but is still far from being grippy. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who uses their phone in portrait mode too much, or plays a lot of games. I've kept a cheap clear case for when I need to go out in the rain, hiking or to the gym but for everything else this case is very good.

Very nice. I probably couldn't get used to the brown+black combo but the case looks great. I think it'd look amazing with a white face/silver or gold back.

This! I agree. Looks great. Also, after using the case for about a week the slippery in the grip eases up and it just feels perfect. The new buttons are also awesome.

As a sidenote, I also picked up the silicone case in the new black color and that also looks great. The leather is more premium feeling, but it's nice for a change here and there.

I can't decide. I just picked up the black and the saddle brown leather cases at an Apple store. I was leaning toward black until I saw all of the saddle brown pictures in this thread. My 7+ JB is arriving tomorrow!

I felt the same way, first leather case. But like someone else said, the pictures here of the leather aging sold me, and I love the brown/black. Only case I will own...rain, sleet, snow...like the idea of my case reflecting it all.

First two pictures were taken Sunday morning. A day after I got the phone and case. Last 3 pictures were just taken now. So 4 days of use, but it's developing a nice color and feel. Hopefully the pictures show how it's gaining this nice color that I'm love with. Not what I initially purchased which I was hoping it wouldn't be.

Let me know if you guys want other types of pictures. My Sea blue case should be arriving soon!

I returned mine after a few days for exactly this reason. They look beautiful, but this is a phone and not a fashion item, and so function is my primary concern. I ended up exchanging it for the Apple silicone case, which still looks very nice.

Seriously? thats not an excuse to leave the entire bottom of the phone open and exposed to scratches in a leather case that costs 50$, i rather keep my phone pristine and NOT use a dock at all if that means for them to make a case that covers the entire bottom,

It is for me. I like this aspect of the Apple case.
