I would have put money on it being released the day of the announcements last week, and when the keynote started and ended I was really surprised.

The Apple site still says October, so they have today and tomorrow.

her allegation that she, who doesn't even cover apple, "spoke to them" and they said "yup"

I never actually stated the sources were credible, I just referred to them as 'whispers' that elevated the hype a little. Sorry if you guys misunderstood

I'd rather iTunes 11 be late than a buggy piece of *****.

Patience, folks. It'll show up eventually. Along with all the bitching and whining about the new problems it has!

I think its very likely that its going to come out today or tomorrow.

If Apple were to delay the release, they would've taken down that "coming in october" message by now.
 
Wow, everyone gets seriously hyped over software. I mean, I'm excited too, but it'll come when it comes.
