New lifeproof nuud iPhone 5

Was so excited today...

Called local BB rep yesterday and told him if nuud for iphone 5 was in stock, guy says 14 available tomorrow (today)

Went today and nothing :(

Lying POS! X)

Think he either got confused with nuud for "new" or he thought I meant for the iPad

Some other rep said inventory shows BB in El Centro, CA has 4, and I'm in San Diego, CA

He checks with el Centro store and NOTHING

Worst day EVER!

confirmed that NO Best Buy stores got them at all today. Was an inventory screw up and they will not have them until later this week

Looks,like El Centro still has them in stock.

Correct, I placed an online order this morning through a store that said they had them in stock and when I called. Turns out they don't really have them, my order was automatically cancelled and money will be refunded.
 
I ordered one for store pickup yesterday and got the email that they didn't have it at the store. I called the same store this morning and they said they had them in stock. I went to the store and they couldn't find it anywhere. Apparently the computer says they are in stock but are nowhere in the store. I'm guessing they will get them in with the next shipment.
 
This is the great email I just received from best buy regarding my case.


We're sorry, but your recently ordered item has gone on backorder. We expect it to arrive between July 18 and July 29. To keep you informed of its delivery, we'll send tracking information once it has shipped.
 
I don't think best buy knows what's going on. This morning I got a backorderd email. Now I just received an email saying it was shipped with a tracking #. I will report back when ups gives me a update.

I just saw that post and ordered mine from lifeproof. Both best buy stores I went to had no idea what I was talking about. Both store employees didn't understand that they made a new case that doesn't have the actual built in screen protector and still could be waterproof. I just did 2nd day air so hopefully I'll have it Thursday

How convenient, picked the lesser of 2 evils I guess and ordered via lifeproof as bestbuy finally showing in stock with pick up at store by the end of the week.
 
So supposedly one of my local Best Buys has them in stock and so I ordered for pick up. Got an email saying it is ready for pick up so I will head there tomorrow to see if it is actually there. Here's hoping.
 
Well, I just tried to order one on Lifeproof's website and it says they are out of stock. Already!?

I went on about an hour ago or so and they had them. Would be crazy if they were out already.

EDIT: yeah I checked and they are out of stock now. That went crazy fast. Now I really hope my Best Buy doesn't screw me. They are saying they have it though and I got the confirmation email that it is in stock and ready for me to get it. Hope so. Will see tomorrow.

Did you check to see if it was in stock before you ordered for pickup?

Or did it says 3-5 days, then you placed the order, then received an email confirm that it was in stock for you to pickup?

Wow, I don't know what's going on. I just tried to place an order with BestBuy and at first it said available for in store pickup in 3-5 days. I hesitated but tried again minutes later. Now it says available in 5-7 days. Not sure whether it would be better to just wait until they have them is the store.

I picked from one of my local Best Buys that showed them as having them available for in store pick up today. Ordered from them and then got confirmation email about 30 minutes later saying it was ready for pick up. Store was closing though so I will have to go tomorrow. It was the only store in my area that showed it as being in stock. All others showed the 3-5 day.
