I think now that the iPhone can edit videos using iMovie, the Mac Pro is probably a waste of money until they can come up with some new innovation for it.
I was just saying that... Next iPad needs to have something special that the iPhone doesn´t have.
You know there´s something called "casual use" and "serious/pro use".
You learn new things everyday.
I might add:
Laptop/desktop: Serious use (and casual).
iPad: Casual and serious use (note taking in class).
iPhone: Casual and serious use (the phone).
Well then just say that, and don't go into long rants. God knows why I'm so involved in this thread.
Well I did, but the first replies started an argument with me. Seems like they had something to make excuses for...
Anyway, what special (maybe hardware) feature could make the iPad better and separate itself from the iPhone?
Fixed that for you. Learn anything?

Why does it have to be different??
Why can´t you use a 13" MacBook Pro to take notes in class? Much faster with a physical keyboard. And you have to buy one anyway, if you buy an iPad.
Let me guess, more magical?![]()
This gave me an idea. Maybe Apple could free iPad from the syncing and make it actually a standalone product. This would be a killer feature. But I don´t know if they can make this happen, if the use same iOS. And probably they don´t even want to give up that control.
Why would you buy the same device twice? The other one being also very stripped down version of the other one.
Let me say it again for the OP.
The iPhone 4 and the iPad are selling faster than they can make them.
Where's the problem?
Obviously most people don't see the waste that you do.
Next iPad needs to have something special that the iPhone doesn´t have.......................
Hopefully the next one will be better.
Why can't you use an iPad? Noticed you can buy a keyboard dock for the iPad?, or use any BT keyboard?
I guess you can't read. After activating at the Apple Store, you never NEED to connect it to a computer again.
(Btw, the 'apostrophe' lives next to your return/enter key, not above the tab)
He was just curious, not trolly.
WHY ? They are selling far greater numbers than most people predicted regardless - proving that it already has something special. Just because it's allure can not be defined does not mean it's lacking.
Also it is not competing in the same space as the iPhone - regardless of the fact it uses iOS, therefore your assertion that it needs something more to differentiate it is also meritless. The fact that iPad sales & iPhone sales have not been impacted by each other is testament to that.
We all know that next revision will be small incremental changes. Facetime camera's, maybe updated processor and more ram. That will probably be the only changes to iPad revision 2.
No, he's being trolly.
OP, if you don't want one, don't get one. Nobody's trying to change your mind. Our exclusive "iPad Owners Only" club is better without you in it.
Just stop trying to start stupid arguments

Yeah I now know that. If you look at his post then my next post, you'll understand that I took what I said.
So having an opinion makes you a troll around here.
Aren´t we so touchy, jeez.![]()
