Just pulled the trigger on one from ebay. 12 quid plus free postage and should be here next week. I think they are all coming out of the same factory as looking at Ebay and Amazon, all the colours and designs are identical

Feel is almost identical to other knockoff bands; flimsier and less weighty than the normal apple sport band. The material is almost certainly the same as the Moko and other type bands. The outside is not smooth, the perforations for the air holes all feel like they're sticking out just a tad too far (which i'm sure won't be the case with the real thing).

IMG_4838.JPG

Sizing, I bought the 38mm band and it only comes as two pieces - only the equivalent of the S/M sport band. That said, the holes are not spaced the same as the regular sport bands, and at the longer end of the band actually feel more aligned with the spacing on the first 4 holes of the M/L (which i normally wear) so it's comfy for me. YMMV but be warned - my seller didn't have any M/L options and it seems they're only going to come in S/M for the 38mm and M/L for the 42mm. This may change eventually (as it did for the normal sport bands) but who knows.

IMG_4839.JPG

Fit is not great. I've only had one knockoff band before; it had the same feel as this but the fit was identical to apple's sport bands and also carried the markings of an apple band (along with the colour matching bumpers). This has none of that, though on the lighter colour here isn't massively noticeable.

IMG_4840.JPG

Look is exactly as expected. My last knockoff band has been abandoned in a drawer for months because it was a dust magnet. No idea how this one will fare, because of the additional holes and texture it could be better or it could be worse. Going to wear it today and see.

Price - i'm in China and paid 74RMB which currently equates to about $11, delivered. Since I ordered, more sellers have popped up and I could get it for about $8 if I shopped around. Obviously, I have the benefit of being local and therefore shipping is easier, but don't be ripped off and pay upwards of $20 for something like this.

So all in all as expected - we get what we pay for (worst part of this is that the original isn't even available to purchase)

worn it all day and it doesn't appear to be a lint magnet as many knockoff bands are, so it's got that going for it (although i dont know if that's just the colour)

That's a good start. I have two Eoso sports bands and they are pretty great but yeah attract a lot more dust than Apples

Wow. In my opinion, and it's my opinion, that is truly atrocious. For starters, the amount of bleed of the lime colour onto the rest of the band surface is hideous, especially when you compare it to what it's supposed to be a knock-off of. If I was given that for free, I wouldn't use it.

Hoping better quality ones emerge, even if they cost a bit more.

Really, the $10 knock off doesn't look as good? Who woulda thunk it??

I agree , I'd pay extra to have a authentic Nike band. It looks alright , but I'm glad I held off ordering one.

Did you order the Nike watch? Didn't apple confirm they are only selling the watch band with the watch and not separately?

I will wait a little longer and get a decent knock off as I didn't want the Nike watch.

Yes I ordered a Nike Apple Watch , I have a feeling eventually apple or Nike one will start selling the bands. I was gunna order a few different Nike knock off bands , but like you I'll wait until the knock offs look a little better. I'll also be able to make a better decision once I have the watch in my hand.
[doublepost=1477334871][/doublepost]There's a video that just posted to you tube . If u search Nike Apple Watch , it's a vlog , the gentleman goes to the Apple Store to look at the Nike watches. He try's one on & the apple sales person starts pulling out just the Nike bands & he asked loud and clear " I can just buy the band right " the apple sales person says yes you can !! Hmmmmmm

Ordered a black/grey for my SS AW from a US seller for $12.79 (although emailed receipt was from Chinese email address). We'll see how it looks; not expecting a perfect replica but as long as it fits okay and I can workout in it, I'll be happy for the price. I've had pretty good luck with most of the other knockoffs and have no problem if they are not perfect. No one will know unless they look closely and have the real thing.

I ordered a gray/black on last night and it shipped today from china. Probably be mid to late november before I get it but since apple is not going to sell them this is the next best thing just to use maybe when working out. I paid $10.99 free shipping.

Mine should be here any day now. if its rubbish I shall just bin it. Its only £12 and I will wait for better products to arrive...assuming that Apple don't decide to release Nike bands separately.

Even if it's rubbish, we'd love for you to post a few pictures so we can see.

It's disappointing that most (all?) of the knockoffs on Amazon are currently using (stealing) Apple's pictures - "hey, that looks just as good as the real thing!" (zooms in on pic from back, sees Nike logo on back of watch) "oh, gee, thanks, you're showing Apple's pictures of the real band, which is not what you'll send if I order from you".
