Night Spring- take a leap of faith. If you don't like it, send it to me and I will reimburse you.I will make you pay postage because there is no such thing as a free lunch . If you are so worried about quality I would wait.
I will only extend this offer to Night Spring. Sadly, I am on fixed income, and pay my taxes, so my expendable income is limited, though I am fortunate that an $11 outlay doesn't scare me. If I have to pick up the tab, I prefer the black and volt:) Nick

Well, no need -- I just bought the Nike+ watch, so I have the real thing. ;)

And I wasn't doubting you, just thought to point out that posting pictures isn't as complex as you seem to feel it is.

BTW, you haven't said which seller you got your band from, so I wouldn't be able to try it even if I was interested.

Here are a couple of Nike bands and the real thing.
The real band fits and feels better.
Either way I am happy with my purchases.
The knock of will be used on my Nike watch and the real band on my ceramic.

There's a genuine Nike strap on ebay on offer and at this moment it's on 217usd with 5 days left... Holy cow, you can get half of the cost of the watch back by selling just the strap :)

This is beyond mind-blowing, $200+ for band. It was mentioned, shell out the extra $150 and get the watch with the band.

Well, I guess if they have the $$$...why not I suppose?

I agree.
I'll wear the Nike band with my ceramic and the knock off with my Nike watch.

Seems like it's hard to find an S/M size band for a 42mm, they are mostly M/L. A large one does fit me, but the bit that loops around inside the band ends up touching the back of the watch as my wrists are just a bit too skinny. S/M is a better fit, but a lot of these knocks offs only seem to come in one size. I made this mistake when I ordered some plain sports bands off an ebay seller, not realising they might be one size only. The material they were made from is comparable to the genuine band but they're just a bit big for me. Thankfully they didn't cost much so not too stressed over it.

I guess you didn't read my post. Technically challenged. Not sure if I consider this band to be fashionable. I am a runner and wanted a band lighter with the additional "air holes". Unless someone is an Apple Watch purist, the band will work for you. $10.99, don't think you can go wrong. If it doesn't hold up I will post, and probably order several more, and still be ahead of the potential release of a $50 official Nike + band.

Yea I read your post thank you. But everyone that claims they don't know how ends up figuring it out, it's not that hard, and pretty self explanatory. If you can figure out how to post on these forums, you can figure out how to post pics. Not to mention, people in threads like this on web forums are always going to ask for pics. There's a difference between being technically challenged and too lazy to figure something out. I'm sure if there was a $50 reward for posting pics of this band, you would've managed to do so no problem.

So I ordered one of the Chinese eBay 'Nike' straps, and even though I'd set my expectations low, I was still disappointed with the quality. Picked up a Nike watch today and there is simply no comparison. Here's some pictures; although it should be obvious, the copy is the lighter grey band. The fake is roughly made, the edges of the holes stick out, and the fit is poor, it's like 1mm off in width.

And yes, I did just buy the Nike watch to use its band on my Edition.

That's a shame, though I suppose what many of us were expecting. Looks like the company either doesn't care and is just looking to cash in, or they're going for the market of people who just want to look like they've got "the new one" without the cost. Myself, I'd cheerfully pay twice the going rate of the knockoffs for one that approached Apple's quality.

Damn this just makes me more sad they don't sell the Nike straps. The fake one doesn't look very polished

I have a fake black/gray, black/green and 2 gray/white.
4 different sellers. All are of the same quality.

4 bands for the price of one.

In this case, I would much rather spend the EXTRA money have a real Nike band.
I find the real nike band extremely comfortable.

If apple sold the nike band for $75 it would blow off the shelves.

My thoughts exactly! If they want to make it a bit more than the sports bands - go ahead (even though the watch including the Nike band is the same price as the sports bands) but for god's sake let us buy them!

I have a AW S2 Stainless Steel and chose it because for me it's more stylish, but I still use it a LOT for the gym and running (one of the reasons I upgraded) so would LOVE this strap

Just an FYI for those of you with larger wrists, the official Nike band is slightly smaller than a regular sport band. I usually wear my sport bands on the second largest hole, switching to the larger one for comfort if needed. With the Nike, I'm wearing it on the largest hole. Here's some photographic evidence.

... and lessen the attraction/allure of the Nike Apple Watch. Which is why it's unlikely to happen in the next six months. Totally agree though - I'd cheerfully buy the official one from Apple for $75.

The Hermes bands came out separately... eventually. After everyone who might be tempted to buy an entire watch to get one had a good long chance. It's sorta the same as the way movies come out in theaters, then go to purchase, then to rental, then to streaming, then to cable.

Still, I'm annoyed I can't get one now, to put on my series 0 SGS. I wish one of the knockoff factories would step up and do a decent job of this.

BTW, that Nike band on the ceramic watch looks awesome - much better than I would have guessed.

There is an eBay seller that states they use the same material as Apple.
Their price is $26.99
I might order on to see.
