It's being reported as a bug on 3G devices and other 3G users are claiming to have been successful at changing the homescreen. I doubt Apple will lock the 3G from changing the homescreen.

Ah! That is good news then, many thanks for the info.

Folders and a nice OS X style dock with Snow Leopard wallpaper will keep me and my 3G happy.

Listen, and stop being thick.

I'm not complaining, but by God I don't half repeat myself a lot on here because of people too thick to read what's in front of them.

I'm not a 2G owner. I'm a 3G owner who didn't expect and understand Apple's decision not to include multitasking on my device.

So shut up before I do start complaining ... and it won't be anything iPhone related.

READ the post before quoting and running your mouth at people. I know about business models, I'm simply expressing a point of view that because the 3G and the 2G are identical aside from the 3G/GPS chip, I could understand if owners of that device were pissed off. You've just assumed I'm a 2G owner and are telling me my phone is three years old and that I should upgrade.

What's pretty sad is what I wrote can be implied that I thought you were an original iPhone owner yet it was pretty obvious you're not. You should read the comment again and you'll see that the comment was for those that owned an iPhone 2G. I never did say that YOU owned one. Frankly, I don't care what you own, but your misinterpretation is pretty funny.

From the UK, eh? Of course.
