So xciteme has not posted anything other than this opening post? I think we can assume it's simply phasing for attention and leave it at that.. Move along peeps nothing to see here.
I have no idea what you are saying. Apple is adding the iOS 4 features to the iPad plus printing for free, in November (the fall) exactly like they said. How on earth is this going for $$$ instead of users?
I guess you must think you are making sense, but I think you're just jibberish.

Arrived at my doorstep 1 week ago. It's a fun gadget (I wouldn't call it a computer), but this is unacceptable. A second-rate OS until November???
Eating my 10% restocking fee and getting my $$$ back.
Sorry Apple, maybe next revolution.

Drama much?
Exactly my point. So many people are on here expecting apple to "keep them in their thoughts after spending a good part of income" on a software crippled device which until competition opens they don't have to fix.
I mean the iPhone 4 can't make calls and the iPad can't even set an alarm clock to go off unless you remember to close all your data.
Get real fanboys - your $ are lighting Steve and buddies cigars.
And someone promised it to you sooner before you bought it?

Pretty clear with the late arrival of IOS4 to the iPad that Apple always intended the first generation iPad to be sold with little support, just hoping enough minions buy it so they feel compelled to upgrade with iPad 2 comes out. Unfortunately I'm one of those minions.
So thus the iPad going down the same route as the iPhone. You get just enough new features with each upgrade but the always leave out that one important item, which they will introduce "next year".

Well English is my language. I typed in short hand be causing I am typing on a software iPad keyboard so I'm not exactly anti-apple.
Yes. If u need it spelt out. The software will be free but it will only be available once there are the new features to make money in iOS not when the free features like backgrounding is coded.
Obviouslyapple care about $$$ not end users experience unless they are in conflict.
Anyone notice that the OP also started this thread? I love my iPad so much I want to marry it, is that weird
