UPDATE

Noah has finally offered a personal response to my inquiries.

My credit card company is taking care of the refund. Nomad will not be disputing it. A return shipping label is being sent to me.

I very much appreciate the fact that Nomad has shown that they are attempting to resolve issues with dissatisfied customers.

This will be my final post in this thread regarding this matter as I now consider this case to be CLOSED.

Have had my USPS tracking info window open since this a.m. and just did a refresh. It has updated showing Sorting Completed at my local post office. Dated 7:42am. Wonder if that means it made it out on a truck today. It's almost 11am here now. Thought worth mentioning in case you saw your package in your area but not listed as being out for delivery yet.

Update: Just noticed at the top it says On Time Expected Delivery Day: Friday, June 26 All right!

Update 11:30am: Text just got updated again. Now saying 7:52am Out for Delivery. So there can be a time delay in updating the tracking, 3-1/2 hours in my case.

Just got mine. It's way better than I thought it would be. The quality seems great. No part of the watch actually touches the aluminum. The charging puck keeps it raised enough. 38mm SS watch

I know some space gray guys have painted their cabling or thought I read about plastic dip used (forgot how it's spelled but used that product decades ago on some pliers and it does have a thickness to it) but being a charger that's passing an electrical charge wouldn't plastic dip possibly build up some heat within and not be a smart thing to do?

Current, yes, but so little that heat shouldn't be a problem. The thickness will be a problem with this stand, though.

I've got an original Apple Lightning cable in my car (because ProClip car mounts fit only the real cable's connector), that's all black, courtesy of ... don't have the name at hand, but there's a spray paint (one of the Krylon variants, IIRC) designed specifically for painting on plastic. I think I got it at a car parts store. Cover the metal cable ends with "blue mask" tape, hang it from an unfolded coat hanger (outside!), and spray away.

Mail finally! Looks good. Here it is with my MacBook Pro. I was surprised at how small the box was when the mailman handed it to me. All the closeup photos distorted it in my mind I guess. Very nice design though and glad I waited. 42mm SS. Doesn't seem to be tip-prone at all. Glad they thought to add the weighted base to it.

Sorry about your non-receipt today Soya. Frustrating I'm sure given you were in your apt.

CarlJ just noticed your post. I've seen Krylon for Plastic spray in the hardware store. I can see my husband ordering the space gray and wanting to coordinate the charger with the stand.

Got it powdercoated black, painted the puck and plasti dipped the cable. Added a little shrink tubing around the connection piece too. I didn't like the way the space grey looked too much so bought a silver and took it apart and made it flat black. Matches with the elevation stand too. Don't mind the dirty table

CarlJ those are probably some of the best photos of the stand I've seen. Thanks for taking the time. Have to say it sure looks sexy and has nice curves. I see now what you mean about the cable barely visible from the backside view. With my silver version it should more or less blended in and the back side will probably be facing a wall anyway.

i think i answered your questions with my post ;) cable fits perfectly fine with plastidip on it

With your setup there x-evil-x and the exposed stand back I can see why you would want to disguise the cord color. Thanks for all the photos and explanation.

Check this out..

I live in Oregon. My stand arrived in Chicago, then moved to Delaware, then Philadelphia. And now I just got a notice saying it has left Philadelphia. Where to??? Atlantis?

Hmm bad weather for flights? Wait, weren't you one here who cancelled and wanted a refund? Maybe what would have been your package is being sent back. My package had some language on it under the International post mark about returns to Sweden if not delivered.

Just got mine in the mail. The quality is fantastic. It doesn't make it worth the wait, but I'm really happy with the end result.

Once they had that cutout at the top, that ruined it for me, glad I cancelled.
Without that, and other than the delay and shipment debacle, I probably would
not have cancelled my order.

I remember seeing Noah post this from Direct Link back on the 18th about tracking Australian orders specifically. This came from the Direct Link representative: "I will follow up internally on the other destinations, although I expect the Canadian orders are the same as the US. The Australian customs will not report back the tracking information. Due to a bottle neck in Australian customs, delivery times can be a bit longer to Australia 10-12 business days." So I guess that would put packages last week of June into July.

We were vacationing in your neck sometime ago and both my husband and I had commented on how impressed we were with your post offices compared to ours here in the U.S. at that time. I'm surprised they aren't giving you guys continued tracking to your door.
