You didn't mention what size band you got? 38mm or 42mm?
I wonder if the 42mm band with edges like yours would look better on a 38mm perhaps? Or is your watch 38mm? Thanks! And sorry for the million questions!

Also can you show us the tempered glass protector?

Mine is a 42mm SS. I think it would be too wide for the 38mm ;) Pic of the screen protector attached. There's no way it's glass - definitely feels like plastic. Pic attached.

have any pics closer and on your wrist on how it connects and lays on the magnetic side?

Attached. The end of it never quite sticks to the band. It looks very flush but it moves much too easy compared to the Apple leather loop.

Why do the pics show an adapter with them? Did they come with a set of adapters?

No, there are no adaptors. It's a 1:1 recreation of the Apple leather loop, minus some quality and strength of the magnets.

I wonder if the strength of the magnets is something they sorted out.
I ordered mine from the same seller, and shortly after paying they told me there was a week delay because the magnets were not strong enough.

Then they recently delayed again due to an excuse of rain and it causing the sides to come apart.

Hopefully when I finally get mine it will have the kinks sorted out. I'm willing to wait for a better band :).

@enderg wow, the "gray" adapter does look very good, and it looks well fitted as well. Non of the part sticking out. I think im getting one to add to my collection.

anyway, there are modern buckles knock off start to show to on Ebay now. Though the quality from their classic buckle is quite bad so i dont get high hope for these. Looks really good from the pics though lolz View attachment 563265

I have one of these from Aliexpress if you want me to take some pics, etc.

Here's a few shots of the band/boxing, and with it on my space grey.

Oh, and some thoughts:
I can't comment on leather quality -- it feels okay. The buckle itself is pretty plastick-y though and doesn't look/feel impressive. It also seems that you have to really have to push the buckle together to ensure a tight fit. If you shotty job "snapping" (it doesn't actually snap) the buckle together, it can come loose. The buckle also seems thicker than the official Apple one.

I am still waiting on my fake leather loop and fake Milanese band...

Just found this forum, very helpful guys. I purchased my black leather loop on the 17th of June and the wait has begun. Im in Australia and spent just under $50 AUD. Seller has been very good so far and it's coming express air mail from china, so I will see what its like when I get it. Suspecting something like Akonikui.

Three more pictures to show what I mean about the gap on the edge. It's more noticeable on the short strap, but who knows how much quality may vary with these knock-offs.

So are these two the two you ordered from the two different sellers? Which is which and which one arrived faster?

I finally got my red leather loop from AliExpress.
As mentioned, magnets are nowhere near strong enough to safely hold the watch in place.

I'm not risking my expensive watch with this bad quality band. I'm trying to return it now.

Great news. When did you order it?

I only ordered one, but the leather loop has two sides, just like the sport band. There's a long strap and a short strap. The long strap goes through the hole in the short strap to loop back around.

So I decided to take a risk, and I've gone ahead and ordered the Taobao one. I was debating going through an agent, but in the end didn't and just bumbled my way through creating an account, ordering and payment. (I was using Google translate, however at times I had to bring up the Safari Element inspector to be able to "copy/paste" translations.)

It appears some sites with Taobao guidelines say to use a Freight forwarder which will automatically show due to the international delivery address.. However I wasn't able to pick this option, it just said delivery international.
It also seemed to process my credit card fine.

So we wait and see..

Hey any updates on the taobao link bracelet? This one is the only one I'm holding out hope for..

My first red leather loop has been delivered. Overall I am quite pleased. Great shade of red. Leather feels similar to the 2 Apple ones I have. Magnet isn't as strong or snappy, but it is sufficient. One third of the Apple price and the color I wanted in the first place!

Brilliant photos!

Which seller was that one from (I saw you had two different ones ordered)? I'm interested in one for my 38mm, but wanted to be certain I'd get something semi-satisfactory.
